Cool story ! and i did think Batarian Soldier was super awhile when i punched eveything to death easily on gold so i thought why can't i charge in middle of Phantoms/Nemesis and Atlas and take them all out at once, i don't really know what happened got too confident i guess.

If the ledge is low enough to drop down, I want to do it normally, keep my sprint momentum, then tuck into an evade as soon as I hit the ground (turians, krogan, and batarians excepted) to keep the flow going.
I do not want to have the animation for slooooowly going down a drop via ladder interrupt my attempt at cloaking, and getting me ventilated by five hundred guys.

The worst thing with ladders is when you just want to LOOK over the edge to shoot something and unintentially get sucked in to climbing down it

trying to revive your team mate but you ended up docking/covering, worst I got hit by geth trooper, and end up dead instead.
also, wasted a cobra missile, tight situation (cornered, shield down), only squad left, wave 10, one enemy left, geth prime, wrong aim, end dead (no more medi-gel to salvage the match)

I had this happen to me a couple days ago. Tried to prevent wipe, shot my rocket at the 2 primes and pyros advancing on us. Killed 1 geth turret...Andibandit wrote...

When you try to revive a squadmate and the revive button simply doesn't respond. I'm not even talking about finding yourself bouncing from cover to cover over a squadmate's body, just... standing there. I'm mashing "A" as frantically as I can, and nothing is happening. No idea what my teammate thought, seeing me just stand over his body. Probably looked like I was gloating... until a rocket took me out a few seconds later.

had one of those situation also, deperately pressing the revive button (X) on the PS3 to no avail just standing there, an easy target to kill. end up killed by a geth rocket trooper.

Have you tried the more sophisticated version of ladder limbo? I have. My GI actually got stuck between ladder climb (down) animation and geth hunter stagger animation > no way to break the circle, since whenever stagger stopped, game thought I wanted to use ladder > can't move > hunter shoots you again.
I died. Because of a ladder. Now that's a death worthy of songs.

One of the matches I played earlier was FBW/Cerb. silver. We get to wave 8 I think and the phantoms are on the prowl. No biggie, I'm rocking my AA and a Carni and keeping their population low. Except for that one that managed to sneak in from the stairs. I just put the finishing touches on a Centurian down on the landing pad when I hear the pew pew pew. Dreadfully close.
Whack! She hits me but it's not an instakill. I'm pinned to the large box just to the left of the ammo crate. This isn't looking good for me so I start furiously mashing the stasis key and catch her just as she is cartwheeling toward me for the death knell. Now here's where it gets sort of awkward - this murderess is in stasis with her crotch literally inches from my POV. Actually stopped finishing her off so I could laugh at the pose presented to me.
Then I snapped out of it because she was probably going to stab me if I didn't do the deed. So to speak.
