Does Kaidan refers himself as bisexual? If you are Femshep he is straight and if you are Broshep he is gay. As simple as that. You know, cause Bro- and Femshep does not exist at the same time.

IIRC He fairly clearly appreciate's Liara's looks back in ME1.  And the dancers in Chora's Den.

And in ME3, he talks about how he "really dodged a bullet" with regard to Ardat-Yakshi, even when talking to "Broshep." His sexuality, whether it was retconned or not, is not a superposition of states that collapses when Commander Shepard's gender is determined at character creation.

Kaidan was supposed to be bi since ME1. Bioware actually did it, the sub is all there, the voice is all there, the players discovered it and demanded it as it was originally intended. You can even get exclusive kaidan/MShep romance dialogue in ME3 if you import Kaidan/MShep romance from ME1.

Get it now?

I have the guide and no he was not.

Steve on the other hand is perfect. He is loyal loving and caring.

Sorry, I don't get what you're trying to say by he was not?

Why is this a issue?
If you want your Shepard to chase after the woman then go ahead and do so, if you want him to pursue a same sex relatioship then you can now.

You have your view of Shepard and it's different from everybody elses just as everybody elses are different from eachother.
If anything I kinda hoped this could've been possible earlier for those that wanted their Shepard to reflect their sexual orientation.

Lets be honest, you hear about people who once considered themselves straight before turning gay or bi in reality alot. I dont see why a character in a game could not do this?

uh, no you don't man.
you can't just change sexuality

How many people do you know that are aware that they are gay/bisexual from birth?

What a sheltered world you must live in, I'm sorry.

I'm gay, have been from birth, absoloutly no choice about it. Like every other homsexual.

Tell that to every gay man who came out of the closet later on in life.

Okay, provided you have good parents you should know in your teen. My male cousin has been in a faithful relationship with his male husband for over 25 years. I wouldn’t think much about Kaidan if he is in his 30s and hasn’t figured it out.
Okay,

No you can be sexualy confused, but your still gay. Even if you repress it until your 40, still gay from birth.

Yes, people are born gay/straight/bisexual/etc.  No, not everyone realizes it right away.

The original quote didn't insinuate that someone was "changing" their sexuality.  Some men/women do identify themselves as straight at first only to realize that they are not straight later on, this is what is called "confusion."

Okay,

Who says he has not figured it out? Why would he state it to anyone unless explicitly asked?

Okay,

Nothing in his dialogue would suggest that he was suddenly becoming bisexual.

The guide said he was designed to be heterosexual. He is a stronger character if they made him Bi-sexual in ME1. Check my other post.

You first have to establish they were straight. Not being interested before ME3 isn't enough evidence.

If female Shepard shows interest in Liara, Kaidan makes a comment that he didn't know she was interested in women. It looked like he was making an issue out of it. He should have at that time said he was Bi-sexual.

For a male Shepard, he stated that he was in love with a girl and also stated that a male Shepard who have loved her as well. I agree this person was not a good candidate for Bi-sexual. Sorry to disagree. Just don't see it for this character.

I saw that scene yesterday. Really awkward. But can't agree that he came off bigoted, and I see no point for him to bring his own bisexuality open. What would he hope to accomplish by doing that? Hope Shepard thinks it's cool that they're alike and love him instead?

I got the dialogue for the girl he loved as a femshep. People, forgetting what bisexuality means, keep bringing up his attraction to women as if that disproves any attraction to men. I'd have to see the male Shepard point of view for that dialogue but telling male Shepard that he'd love her doesn't sound persuasive. If there were a lot of other indicators to go with I'd put it on the list just to make it look bigger.

I'm just glad Kaiden was an isolated incident. Not because I have anything against homosexuality or bisexuality being displayed in games, but because I am for heterosexuality not becoming totally invisible as a result. You'll constantly hear that x straight character should have been able to be romanced by the same sex Shepard, but you'll never hear that same topic pop up about Cortez or Traynor and the opposite sex Shepard. Why? Because it wasn't a defining part of their characteristics beforehand, so it's open to be changed? Or is it some implicit statement that homosexuality is edgy and heterosexuality is stale? Both of those positions are nonsense.

I'm sorry, but the fact that somebody only shows an interest in you if you are of the opposite gender is enough to make it part of their characteristics. They don't have to include awkward rejection scenes for every character to establish this. I understand why they did what they did to Kaiden, including a male bisexual character to act as a counter to Liara (I think?), but honestly I still think it was somewhat forced, given that there was no indication of this beforehand. That they held back on Tali and Ashley is at least something.

How is that making an issue out of it? He was noting that he didn't realise that Shep liked women; i.e. that he had competition in Liara.
He was making it clear he didn't want to pursue a relationship with Shep if she wanted to be with Liara.

And did you read that all his gay content was still in the game?

okay to have exclusive gay members like Cortez or Traynor?

Because bisexual is the medium, garrus is exclusively straight isn't he?
