Interesting look on DA2 and a little message at the end for the developer of DA3. This guy made the effort, so as fans of DA we should take a look.

I think this is a really good review not to mention a very intelligent and honest one without being sensational.

Does my appreciating his Dragon Age 2 review rely on my agreeing with a premise that he gives no evidence for and that appears to be largely his own creation?

A large portion of his ME 3 review rested on him creating a wholly new genre category, saying that ME and Star Trek were both part of it, and then criticizing ME for not following through on the criteria he laid out for his completely new genre.

That seem to me a contrieved way of looking at it. Now why would you do that, Maria?
He mainly explains basics about storytelling, and frequently uses Star Trek as an example. And, as he points out, ME succeeds brilliantly, all the way to, but not including, the end.
But we don't need his explanation of that the end is so inexplicably bad. It's pretty obvious. What he does is just overkill for most. But he does make a good case for those who thinks it's just about dying, or us who have trouble sorting all our turbulent thoughts on its badness, in a neat orderly manner.
...Oh, his DA2 review? He mainly harps on about storytelling again and uses Shakespear as example... err... he mainly thinks DA2 has nice writing (one can agree with that I think) but ruins it all because of that soulcalibur sword. Which one perhaps don't need to agree with. Ruined yes, but by so many other things.
(basically, I don't think his DA2 review works for me)

Referencing Shakespeare? I think I'll skip this one.bEVEsthda wrote...
