why not buying the whole thing (vanilla with all the expansions patched up to date) from steam for just a few pounds? right now it's only 15. there're are often sales at steam where it lowers down to something around 5.

just backup your character files and your override folder, deinstall your old version, download and install the steam version, start it and place your saved files in your "my documents/nwn2" folder.

you should also save your nwn2.ini and nwn2player.ini so you don't have to configure it again ;)

after all it's the exact same game^^

Awesome, well thanks anyway. So how good is Mask of the Betrayer as an expansion? (I preferred the OC to MOW and SOZ by the way). Are there any annoying puzzles to get caught up in? :D

Since you preferred the OC, you will like MOTB. Much more story oriented than SOZ, with actual developed personalities to interact with. In fact, it's probably more story oriented than the original; at least the NPCs have much more depth.

haha, the annoying thing in the OC was that all the boring long conversations seemed to be voice acted, but the funny ones (about children, family etc.) were in text. :D

Completely off topic, but its a shame Obsidian is going bankrupt. They made some great RPGs.

what do you talking 'bout? they've a hard and difficult time after such a big project was canceled by microsoft but they're far from going bankrupt.

Isn't the only thing they're working on that south park RPG.
yay! South Park.  Possibly the most uninsteresting RPG setting ever.
