I agree with your points, but this also makes me wonder why it hasn't been given a higher priority to fix.nuculerman wrote...
Stealing credits is stealing money from EA/Bioware, directly. It is thus stealing money from honest customers, indirectly. If you don't understand this concept, I suggest picking up a basic econ textbook. Corporations will always attempt to pass new costs onto their customers. It's called running a business for a profit. If they didn't do it, they wouldn't be able to offer you a product in the first place.

Maybe you feel entitled to moar gunz because you don't like the store system; I personally feel that cheapens things for the rest of us. It's more of a sentiment than a moral judgment because the irl consequences are zip.
Regardless I'm happy somebody's exploiting the exploiters.

First, that's pretty damn cool. Second, I wonder how the hell someone figured out how to perform that glitch anyway.
This glitch has been around since day 1 of the beta.
It was fun to do (was one of the first to find it, tried to keep it under wraps though) but I would never do it in the real game. Not only is ruining the game for myself not fun, ruining the fairness for all is just as bad.

dont compare theft to glitch exploitation.
Don't dissociate digital theft from physical theft to ease your troubled conscience and call it an argument. They are ethically the same thing. The only reason they're not legally the same thing is because our legal systems are so archaic.

It's not digital theft, they are credits earned in game. Exploited? Yes, but that's an error in the game itself, not going online and downloading hacks to stock up on digital currency. If it was such a huge legal issue, they probably would have fixed it in the beta.

Closest I've come to trolling in this game was on a fb. White geth farm run, on my geth infiltrator - level 19, I wanted xp. After we completed the r10 objective, two players instantly got themselves killed, and started getting - very- rude over how I and the other needed to die to make the farm faster. And I mean VERY rude. Right off the bat, no asking nicely or anything. The other player( a SE i know) just stayed as we were, and set about slowly grinding the mobs down, until there was only one left.
Now, by this point, with ~ 5 mins spent so far, the farmers were livid, throwing absolute vitriol at us over what was happening. Major E- badass stuff, and some insults that were just plain childish. So my friend and I took it to the next level. The last foe was a rocket trooper... So we just ran. Whenever the mob got close, we legged it to the other end of the map. And we kept at it for over ten mins, until one ragequit. And then ten more, for the other.
Then we finished the wave, and managed a full extraction on the next.
Sure, we would have been able to do another run in the time we sprnt dicking around, so I got less xp over time than just wiping and doing a new run would have. But it was sooooooooooo worth it.

@D.I.Y- Were you in the lobby I trolled? Anyone who takes a game so seriously that they would yell like those people did, more than has it coming. It's funny that I'm the immature one for playing the game to extraction, but it's fine for them to call me a f***ing idiot for reviving them. Grow up. I would get punched for this in real life? Yeah, you're the mature person here.
No, but I hate trolls. You're a troll. Thus you deserve some of your own medicine and you deserve it 10 fold.
If you trolled a 20 minute project I had on the go for the lulz I'd probably punch you. That's disrespectful and indicates you only care when someone can get in your face for being rude.
Funny you're trolling a video game and then telling me to grow up.
It seems that you have no idea in the irony within that statement.
If you feel the need to physically injure someone over the disruption of something as trivial as a video game, then you definitely need to grow up. Such action is simply not accepted by the majority within society.
The same goes for the people trolled by the OP. If they are yelling insults at others over pixels and imaginary money, they need to learn to get their priorities straight. Maybe in the future, video game money may be of value in this world, but as of today, they are worth nothing. Plus, they are exploiting a known fault within the game in order to turn the game in their favor, which is the definition of cheating, and thus, they would deserve a much harsher punishment than to be `trolled`.
If you are one of the people exploiting the glitch, I suggest you stop, as everything that has a start, has an end, and the end to the exploits may not be one that you like (such as a ban or reset).

Haha, I did a similar thing once. I had a game where for every hack objective, I would be the only one with the sense to get the job done. Every one else thought it was a better idea to run around attacking enemies and getting killed. I swear hacking took forever. And we got the same exact objective, same location, THREE times. So on wave 10, after eveyone died, I killed every enemy but one trooper and spent a few minutes running circles around the map until everyone rage quit. Sure, I had to do the objective again since I wasn't host, but it was satisfying.Discordic wrote...

It is. There is even an exchange rate. $1=32000 cr. The fact you can earn them in game means EA is paying you about $6 an hour to play gold matches.
They may not be fixing it because the amount stolen is less than the cost to pay developers to fix the game. Or they're just lazy. They lost $300M this last quarter. They aren't exactly known for their keen business sense.
