1 - Glitch exploits should not be punished whilst glitches that make you LOSE credits are not compensated. You cannot have justice for one and not the other.

The number of people who lose credits and recieve no items from the store is surprisingly smaller than you'd think, and has more to do with their own connections than the server itself.

Goodness before the funny all gets sapped away let's give some definitions.

Humility; the quality or condition of being humble; modest opinion or estimate of one's own importance, rank, etc.

That is a word for word definition which really does not apply to these credit exploiters whatsoever. What DOES apply is integrity which is this:

Integrity; adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty

Credit exploiters seem to have a lack of integrity. If there is an exploit that a dev happened to miss, it is a MORAL and HONEST decision to report said exploit so it can be fixed. Willfully and knowingly exploiting it means you lack integrity.

Now I'm a fairly tolerant woman and can brush off silly stupidity and let jokes slide, but if people are getting better rewards for doing half as much work it irritates the heck out of me. So I see no issue with the OP ruining their integrity-lacking EXPLOITING of a glitch. If they want something they gotta work for it instead of being petty and lazy enoguh to exploit a bug to get fast cash.

Do try arguing against that. How is it bad for exploiters to get trolled when they themselves are in the wrong in the first place?

Integrity is 100% subjective. Your morals don't apply to everyone else.

Oh, I agree, it's not entiely right that exploiters are exploiting but it's a co-op game. Are we all so jealous we need to ruin their fun? Because there's no other reason to complain other than jealousy. BioWare and MS have a right to complain because it effects potential profit margins, that's their money people are glitching away from them.

You can troll just aboput anyone, regardless if they desvere it or not.
"In Internet slang, a troll[/b] is someone who posts inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[4] The noun troll[/i] may refer to the provocative message itself, as in: "That was an excellent troll you posted". "

In this case by running into a exploit game and then purposely ruining it for them would be considered trolling, you're looking for an emotional reaction out of some silly emotional response.

To me it just seems really, really immature.

1 - Glitch exploits should not be punished whilst glitches that make you LOSE credits are not compensated. You cannot have justice for one and not the other.

2 - Trolling exploiters is funny - finishing a wave and reviving your comrades is THE GAME, if playing THE GAME is trolling, then it's funny. Contradiction < foundation of humor.

3 - Play the game for fun and to improve your gameplay. Rewards are for this reason, which is why people who follow this formula have the most fun.

Please do not take this as trolling / being immature etc. as some other people here seem wont to do, this is simply me expressing a different view point.

I have to disagree with that first point.  Looking a few posts up about integrity pretty much sums up my feelings on that point.

As they say, "two wrongs do not make a right."

Because credit glitchers deserve to be trolled. In fact they deserve far worse than an occasional trolling. Why are you supporting the cheaters anyway? Guilty conscience? I hope not because I wouldn't want to be you once BioWare/EA gets a handle on the situation and start handing out bans like candy from the back of a shady van...

You don't hand out bans for a glitch, you hand out bans for cheating.
Why exactly do credit glitchers deserve to be trolled? Because they don't want to spend 60 minutes earning enough to buy a resurgance pack only to get character cards, thermal clips and medigel?

I hope someone trolls your face just for a lesson in humility to be passed on.

actually.....
yes ,you can.  if exploit the glitch and know what it does and continue to use the glitch, then yes you can and will be banned.. hence why its  would fall under cheating...

so nice try on saying you cant get banned for a glitch

@DIY.

You voluntarily entered a contract with EA games, which stipulates you will not explot glitches. Doing so is breach of contract.

Please stop accusing others of being a child when you're clearly not ready for the life of an adult. Don't sign contracts you don't understand. You'll end up as a human centipede iPod, eating other people's excrement. Seriously, its a thing.

I've created no strawmen here. I've only attacked your character. Again, since you so clearly do not understand the definition (that you so quickly pulled from wikipedia) of a strawman argument, you probably should just keep your mouth shut.

Whatever damage I may have done here to your online ego, is nothing compared to the damage you have done yourself.

So my advice to you.... just shut up. :D

Perhaps not, but if lying is a moral thing then my world just got flipped upside down. Lying is never ok. Cheating has never been ok. Credit exploiters are indeed cheating. It is not an excuse to cheat because it's a co-op game. Technically ALL games are co-op games if they have MP.

In CoD you get banned for exploiting bugs/glitches.

In Reach you get banned for exploiting bugs/glitches.

In pretty much every game out there with MP you get banned for exploiting bugs/glitches because it can ruin a game for a lot of people. There is no use in saying that an exploiters idea of fun is cheating. They're in the wrong; it doesn't matter if it's fun for them or not.

I don't find it acceptable in the least that people can do half the work but get more than double the credits. That ruins the fun for me because while I'm getting things at my own pace the honest way, these guys are getting more rewards for cheating and not getting in trouble.

To me it's immature to ignore the spirit of the game and use a lazy, half-ass method to get mountains of credits while other people are actually doing it without cheating.

So really if they apparently are within their rights to cheat because it's "fun" then the OP is, in theory in his rights to troll them because it's "fun." You can't have your cake and eat it too. Either exploiters are in the right and so is the OP, exploiters are wrong and the OP is right, or, as a third choice, both parties are wrong.

Some of you may know, I have nothing against credit exploiters, because the store system blows. HOWEVER, I'm also all about getting some laughs at other peoples' expense, because I'm a bad person.

Moving on- I was quick searching for farm lobbies, and gotin a credit exploit lobby that wasn't private. I could tell because as I was loading in I heard, "Is (the host) back in yet?" Followed by "Yeah, I'm back."

I decided to grab my mic, and waited. By the time I was in, the objective was finished and they were going down. I ran in with a missile launcher.

*Woosh BOOM*
Exploiter- "What was that?"
Me- "Don't worry guys, I got this!"
Exploiter, as I'm reviving them- "What? No, stop you'll mess it up! You f***ing idiot!"
Me- "Wait, I don't get it, why are you yelling at me? I'm helping! Oh, I went down. Don't worry, I have medigels!"
*Slurry of insults as I waste all my missiles to finish the wave*
The rage was fantastic because after that they would have to spend 15-20 minutes going through Bronze again

I honestly don't understand. Can either Distilled Poison (sounds like a name for a rock band) or someone else who understood this post, explain to me what this entire thread is about?
