Hello,

I bought Dragon Age Origins + Awakening last year on Steam and played it for a bit and everything was fine. Recently I bought Dragon Age 2 from EA Origin and being somewhat anal about keeping series togethers I activated Origins + Awakening on EA Origin and installed them all. The DLC is recognized and everything seems to be running fine but it seems like I am running patch 1.03 and will have to manually patch the game myself. Steam has spoiled me and Origin doesn't automatically update its older games from what I can tell.

So to sum it all up I just need to download 1.05 from the link below, install it and then everything will be fine?

Now to go through all the other BioWare / Crytek games on Origin and do the same. Thought I would only have to do it for oldschool games like BG/IWD on GOG .

Edit: I take that back, keep getting time out error from the 1.5 download link. Hmmm.

I and many people have downloaded from that page several times. If you're getting a time out it's likely either a temporary internet issue or a local problem....

Yes, you have to install the patch manually, even if you have the Origin client. As to download fails, I just tried it and it worked for me. Maybe if you try clearing your browser's cache, or try a different browser?
