Bioware must be like:

Man, what is wrong with our fans first they are threatening to sue and boycott us and now they are hugging us.... are they manic depressive or something.....

Endings so bad they can cause mental illness'

So sad, Bioware should give antipsychotic meds to all the fans who acquired this mentally debilitating disease
from their poor writing  :P

It;s this kind of thing which I think shows too much lack of respect. There is criticism then there is cheap jokes. I'm guilty of making comments like this, but I have realized it's not only not constructive, but I don't actually mean it, it's just senselessness and I apologize for that!

.... but how does that make you FEEL....

Bad, cos no human being should talk about other human beings like that, especially about a piece of entertainment, get some perspective! :) They made a great series overall, so I don't think being stupid and saying stupid things is construcive or nice.

Yes, because a thread about pretending to hug Bioware is so very constructive, and that opinion of yours I bolded would be a violation of my civil rights, if your a troll you are the most positive troll I have ever encountered. I think im in love:wub:<3<3<3<3

Ergh, this is not about free speech, you may have a right to say mean things, but that does not make you saying it nice - off your own volition you should realize being mean helps nobody and is unkind and BW deserve better.

No it isn't nice, just like:

falsley advertising a product

or changing the format of your game to appeal to a larger audience while knowing that you are going to upset many faithful consumers of your current fanbase

or not even aknowledging that you took advantage of your fans

or releasing the game without face importer working

the list could go on...

Bioware is not as "deserving" as you claim, my business as a consumer is conditional just like anybody else and
if I believed adverts from Biowares head devs and bought the game based on trust which was built from previous games then find out I was lied to is enfuriating,

That said if Bioware wishes to make a product wich appeals to me I will buy it but I will not buy it without scoping out it's gameplay mechanics and writing, no more will I buy a game from Bioware blindly with unyeilding conviction.

As I have said before all I want is Bioware to admit that they lied and were disengenuous then I can forgive them and
if they want a hug I will forgive them even though they would not care because hugs do not have monetary value<_<

No. I don't love Bioware. They make bad games, which are over hyped and have flat out lied to the player base. I consider Mass Effect 1 one of my favourite games of all time, and Mass Effect 3 (as well as Mass Effect 2 a lesser degree) a massive disappointment.

Bioware deserves what they get, which seems to be ****ty sales and an alienated fan base.

Mass Effect 1 wants a word with you. BW do make good games. ME3 maybe wasn't as good, but thats not BWs fault, just things didn't come together as they may have hoped.

They don't deserve crucifixion for that.

They knew what they got themselves into they just figured they would make out positive and acquire more fans then they would lose, and they were right

I think if ME1's story/choices/dialogue with ME3's gameplay would work fine with audiences that like ME3.

The biggest problem a lot of people have with ME3 was BW's fault. A few bugs, shortcuts, railroaded gameplay, lack of past choices mattering can be explained by outside pressure so they may be able to dodge those accusations but not the very deliberately written Starbrat character and final choice. Those are the result of someone thinking they were a good idea and nothing at all to do with things not coming together as they'd hoped or outside pressure.

No, YOU don't get it.  People have differing opinions!  That must be too shocking of a revelation for your feeble mind to comprehend.

And you BSN morons; don't boycott. Otherwise Bioware will get shut down and we don't want that now do we? Just give nice polite criticism. I still like Bioware, they just managed to crap out a few bag eggs lately.

Lol, I remember when I thought Bioware couldn't mess up and they used to be my favourite dev. Too bad that title goes to Namco now.

Ok, first off, you are an a-hole. I hope you're proud of that.

Second, what I am trying to tell you is that with the corporate takeover of the aforementioned Bioware, they are no longer the same company. They do things differently now, their priorities have changed.

Before, you had Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuck, men who abandoned a medical carreer to do what they love, calling the shots. Now you have people more of the profile of John Ricitello making the big decisions. It is no longer the same modus operandi.

It's like the difference between a chain of family-owned grocerie stores and Walmart.

You guys have concentrated your anger down the wrong whole - it's EA you should be mad about, not Bioware.

As for Leviathan, it's reminded me what I loved about Mass Effect in the first place. Good job, Bioware! A stellar DLC once again.

It seems shepdog that though that the people that have a different opinion from you then they get called not so nice names and told to jump infront of a bus.

Example: You are quite right to loudly suggest that we can shutup about our differing opinion from the OP however to call us pricks and to go and die and we are feeble minded is uncalled for.

And yet, on every step BioWare says EA does not influence them.

The fault is mutual, I think.

Why should I give them hugs after they put out a ****** poor product along with a DLC that did nothing to fix it?

It doesn't influence Bioware, not directly, and not anymore. What it affected is the quality of the original product, because of the ridiculously short development time, that Bioware EVEN postponed with a year. Imagine what it would have been if Bioware was unable to talk EA into more time.

As you can see, Bioware is now releasing the ideas they had in mind, as DLC, because they just didn't have the time to flesh them out in the original game.

I don't hate Bioware. They made the best RPG games and they have my big thanks for it
What I hate is EA that seems to just want more money and gives BW impossible time limit to create the game. Those things take A LOT of time if they are supposed to have high quality.

People at BSN shouldn't be angry at Bioware and act like kids insulting everyone. I believe Mac Walters and Casey Hudson tried to do something in the impossible time limit...it didn't work but they tried. Now BW is trying to clarify things through DLC content adding more and more to the ending and thus extending the time they could have to finish the game. It's sad we have to pay for it but that's EA for you...everything is about money.

People casting stones over a video game published by a corporation that is infamous for cannibalizing it's own studios and you throw those stones at the developers?

Okay. I am not so quick to judge and what I do know is they made some great gaming moments and although the final game didn't come together, I would not jump to conclusions now I have given some thought to this whole thing.

I do not like the ending as it currently stands, but that is all I know, I cannot BLAME anyone as I do not know the full facts.

better instead to show the developers that I have moved on and they probably need some ol' respect after what they have been through.

My thoughts exactly, and who can you individually blame for that? Corperatism, if you want to blame anyone, blame corpratist, homogenised mass market business models.
