Exactly, ME2 was an awesome game and the team don't deserve to be turned on so quickly just because their overlords are putting the boot in for no good reason.

Big difference.
The dichotomy of your statement is alarming.
They created Mass Effect, they are awesome. So what if they did something we don't like, doesn't mean its okay to hate on them. They are good people who made a great series.
To say i'm a BioWare fan implies i'm also a fan of other games they have created. I'm not.
Mass Effect is all there is for me, and since they seem intent on ruining it, they do not get my love. Bohemia Interactive and 343i forever
Bohemia also make military sims so government troops can train and be sent on wars to get themselves killed.
To be quite fair, BioWare do a lot more good in the world then using war as part of their income like Bohemia do.
Nice, blaming a software developer who was contracted for the work in the first place, who then turned that simulator into a game, instead of your government who sends them on stupid wars. Might as well toss in Eagle Dynamics into the mix too and blame all the worlds ill on them.
Moron.

Did I say where I put my primary blame, or are you making unfounded assumptions? In comparison to BioWare, I merely noted, that one profited from a military contract, the other did not.

Your choice of words indicates other wise, and you are still a moron. Gonna go have a cry at Crytek for contracting an advanced version of CryENGINE3 to the US Army to
help soldiers understand facial experssions and body language of the
people they interact with on a day to day basis?
Actually Bohemia Interactive Studios (Arma 2) don't get proceeds from VBS2 since that is under the jurisdiction of BI Simulations, a completely seperate wing. You're just grasping for straws now, and i'd say that the creators of almost every other action FPS on the market has done more damage to the perception of war than BIS could ever do.You'd be surprised, actually disgusted, at the amount of people who actually think war is like Call of Duty.

Sure, I've no love for EA and will happily fling stones at them for things I feel could stem from them - mostly time and production quality complaints. The Tali photograph is probably one of those. Accusations of trying to aim for a more shooter-fan playerbase are too.StElmo wrote...

The biggest problem a lot of people have with ME3 was BW's fault. A few bugs, shortcuts, railroaded gameplay, lack of past choices mattering can be explained by outside pressure so they may be able to dodge those accusations but not the very deliberately written Starbrat character and final choice. Those are the result of someone thinking they were a good idea and nothing at all to do with things not coming together as they'd hoped or outside pressure.
Okay. I am not so quick to judge and what I do know is they made some great gaming moments and although the final game didn't come together, I would not jump to conclusions now I have given some thought to this whole thing.
I do not like the ending as it currently stands, but that is all I know, I cannot BLAME anyone as I do not know the full facts.
better instead to show the developers that I have moved on and they probably need some ol' respect after what they have been through.
But you can't wriggle out of the fact that the ending script is 100% BioWare's. It's just not plausible to lump criticisms of that onto EA and it remains my biggest problem with ME3.

Yes, I'm sure EA representatives held a gun to Casey Hudson's head and forced him to make post-gold pre-release statements that were packed with lies, for example.BiO_MaN wrote...

P.s. sorry bout that second part... not very upbeat... but that's just the way it is... no way around that.

KOTOR and Dragon Age Origins were really good too. ME2's still their crown jewel in my mind. And that's the standard that DA2 and ME3 were judged and found wanting to.

OK, you're right. Please tell us the exact number of rubbish Bioware games we need to buy before we can start considering being unhappy.Exactly, ME2 was an awesome game and the team don't deserve to be turned on so quickly just because their overlords are putting the boot in for no good reason.
Hint for you: You are not required to spend you entire income on Bioware games. If there's another company out there (say, Bethesda) that is more likely to make games you enjoy than a company that botched the last three releases (DA2, SWTOR, ME3), then it's perfectly OK to play a Bethesda game instead.
