If you just want to have an easy match against the geth, we don't look down on that. Some of us even still enjoy it.

Just a gentle fistbump for those that were looking for a group like ours but still don't know about us.
Our membership is now up to about 424 members and counting...
We play mostly for fun, we mostly use mics, we have team colors, a team motto (being voted on now actually), and we also play a lot of Silver and Gold (bronze is more of an attitude than a difficulty level).
So visit our group and if you like what you see join it/subscribe to it, and introduce yourself under the appropriate platform thread (Xbox, PS3, or PC).

That said, emos and the more dour goths are also all welcome to join our group. There's no requirement that someone has to play as a dancing turian or a web-slinging superhero batarian.

I don't play bronze, and am not exactly a casual, but I often play to unwind and for fun. Not saying that I refuse to play bronze, just that I haven't in a long time. I do try to win, but winning is not my focus unless playing with randoms.
Anyone can feel free to add me, I mainly play gold since most of my friends have moved on to other games. I myself am not playing nearly as much as I used to. On US East coast and normally play late night. Please don't add me if you never use a mic, this game is quite boring without communication and otherwise I might as well farm gold with randoms.
Word of warning, I will give advice on character builds and load-outs. I am not trying to change your mind, just increase awareness. I like to help people improve and also like to try out lots of different builds.

hehe thanks, i did possibly go over the top trying to get to 500 before you guys did, but it gave me incentive to keep the group fresh in peoples minds, we took in over 200 people in 2 days lol. Now i don't know what to do, hurry up and get to 600 so we can race to 700 ;p

i'm not trying to win, just trying to motivate you into advertising more ;>
there are always people looking for groups like ours, but the only way they'll find them is with lots of advertising either from posting on other peoples "looking for team" threads or updating your own ;p
