Aaah yes... the grind of working a day job... So all this happened while I was driving to work this morning? LOL...
Well like Evil Deity said - we have many members that have joined BOTH groups, And just so non-members (i.e. future prospective members) are clear on this:
-Just because you join Bronze Effect DOES NOT mean you only play Bronze and don't value the beauty of kicking butt
-Just because you join Legion Effect DOES NOT mean you don't play for Fun
I'm not saying these are stereotypes but I also think it needed to be said...
I'm sure both groups are fun and I know for sure that I've seen/played with some seriously GOOD players in Bronze Effect.
I guess the difference is probably a little bit to do with culture.
-Legion Effect is probably more focused (excuse me Shenlong if I get this wrong) on high Silver to Gold accomplishments and bad azzness.
-Bronze Effect is more focused on "casually fighting evil" and clowning around (LOL - just saying that because of our popular "Antics in Bronze Effect Land" thread) with very little pressure on weapon loadouts, class selection, difficulty played, or final results (i.e. when we fail missions we tend to laugh).
But as a die hard "Bronzie" I'll admit that I prefer Silver/Gold these days to Bronze - and so do many of the "Bronzies" that I play with. But I'll always play in Bronze w/o a moment's hesitation if we bring a member into our lobby that wants to do it.
The beauty is that BSNers can join either (or both) group(s) and avoid the hassle of random PUGs - which can often deal you some bad/frustrating experiences...
My advice is that if you join a group - be active in it in order to make the most of the experience. Introduce yourself, participate in the group threads, and send invites to people in your group.
