Xcalizor, Geth Engineer, Falcon.

Thank you for posting this video.

Disruptor Ammo + Hunter Mode + Overload/Tech Burst storm > all.

Pretty happy to see him playing the Gengineer that way too. He also uses the shoot->overload->shoot rotation that reduces the amount of duds to nothing.

But people will keep rolling GPR/no overload build because *derp*, I'm linking this one asap in my guide.

Falcon + Marksman + Cryo III = Fun.

not sure what u mean by marksman but i'd say: falcon X + ammo mod [10 shots b4 reload] + dmg mode + ANY cryo ammo - aim at groups of enemies [3-4] and shoot through the entire map, the weapon is very precise when you learn how to assess the angle.  - biggest problem are lags when ur grenades fly past enemies or dont fly at all, also on gold there is too little ammo and stopping power, however stagger effect is awesome

marksman is a soldier ability, i think it is only on the turian soldier but im not 100% certain

Video of me soloing silver as lvl 1 soldier with FALCON

It is one of the best weapons in the game if you can take advantage of it.
It does damage in a AOE, also staggers in a AOE and applies ammo power effect in AOE.

It also has unlimited range, perfect accuracy, can hit through cover, bypass guardian shields and be used to hit enemies normally out of reach by using ricochets.

The Falcon is amongst the best weapons, people just fail at using it.

How does that not seem like a good gun to you people? So you have to also take along a pistol or smg or use powers to kill single targets. It's not the only gun that has a very specific use, y'know.

She give a bad first impression. Mostly people won't come back after one crap match trying to understand the gun. I'll try again sometime, but my first experience was lame.

Oh, and compared to the new striker: Exact same weight, same projectile behavior.. I think same blast radius but don't quote me on that... the notable differences here are that the Falcon does more damage per individual shot while the Striker gets higher DPS going with sustained fire, IE only when you have the luxury of being out of cover for sustained periods. You'll also be hitting the ammo piles every other minute, using the Striker, whereas the Falcon will usually see you through the entire wave and then some.

Other difference is that the stryker is explosive ammo instead of a grenade launcher, so if you hit the ground or a wall, it won't bounce. She is awesome with adrenaline rush, that make the sustained fire 2x longer, give more damage and restore some shield if you are under fire.

You still have to keep your aim glued to your target/target's feet to have the slightest of impact, while a single grenade from the falcon followed by Overload-> techburst strips a centurion and reduces him to half-health on Gold, and also hurt nearby enemies (outright killing Troopers for instance.)

Both weapons are not comparable, unless you want to pity the striker.

The Falcon was made from an overpowered no brainer, to an effective crowd control weapon. Putting on the right ammo types also gives you a third power almost, because it paints multiple targets.

As many have been saying, the Falcon is a good crowd control weapon. I'll sometimes equip my quarian engineer with it. Add a Power Efficiency mod and some Disruptor Rounds and my already AoE-heavy gal becomes a tempest of electro-staggerific-cryofire death. At the very least, she can hold hordes of enemies at bay on gold with that setup, especially geth. It's most effective when enemies are trying to come down corridors or tight spaces.

I hate when Falcon make duds. 3-4 shots hits on enemy and they do nothing. Sometomes these quirk apears to do damage but show no explosion. I died once when Falcon malfunctioned. 4 shots and its do nothing to Phantom.

Falcon efects on target are quite hilarious. One Nemesis fly like bird through area.

Nice gun but that malfunction. Reave + Falcon would be great combo but because those dud greneades.....

The main issue it has is that it shoots blanks, like a lot of guns in this game.

A tip on duds I've found:

Only fire when the reticle comes fully back from recoil or fire from cover with a tap (blind fire, but it's accurate).

Eliminates the duds in my games.

O, and the slower rate of fire to eliminate the duds isn't actually a problem, as it fits in with the stun time; by the time the gun recovers from recoil and you fire, the enemies are ready to be stunned again.

It just has too many drawbacks to be worth using.
Weight, issue of firing duds, lag issues when not host, nerfed, slow fire rate..harder to level up.

I think a lot of the unique weapons just take some time to get used to. I'm rather enchanted with the idea of any gun that can shoot explosive rounds, so I've spent a lot of time with the Striker, Falcon and Scorpion. All of them can be absolutely terrific, but require some patience to learn how to use well, particularly with the lag/latency issues of using them off host. They tend to pair very well, better than many normal guns, with particular powers. I would encourage anyone to try experimenting multiple rounds with them on Bronze or Silver to see if you can find a combination that works with your play style.
