In prepping for this next weekend, I've got all lvl 20 chars now - but when I go to spend my hard earned $$ at the store (400K +) in resurgance, spectre and veteran packs hoping for upgrades to my Widow, Revenant, Paladin and Claymore and maybe something new (Black Widow or Saber would be nice) what do I get instead? Upgrades to wussy weaps like the Viper, Shuriken, Tempest and Scimitar and a butt load of char cards.

Which do not store, do not carryover or in any way benefit me...TWO char cards like that in a resurgance pack at $99,000 COME ON BW. You have my stats - you KNOW I can't use those cards even as you are awarding them to me in each purchase. What the heck is the point?

It's extremely simple to unlock every weapon except the Ultra-Rare ones.

Buy Recruit Packs until all basics are complete.

Buy Veteran Packs until all uncommons are complete.

Buy Spectre Packs until all rares are complete.

It's. That. Easy. You'll save a lot of credits and tears.

That's mostly the strategy I've gone with since I saw it on the forums. Early on I bought a few vet packs, a couple spectre packs, and recently bought a resurgence pack for fun (geth hunter woo!) but mostly been sticking to the vet packs for now since I've maxed the basics.

Just finished playing a few games against Reapers on Gold...

To my utter bewilderment, there were loads and loads of husks running all over the map... total zombieland... very nice idea, BioWare! Nice for a change!

Sounds about as useful as the "Blackout" for MW3.

I'm curious as to why it's been changed to once every two weekends instead of every weekend. Not saying it's bad or anything, I'm just curious. Is it because of technical problems with delivering out packs, or is it to make more unique operations, or just running out of operation ideas or to work on DLC stuff, or anything else?

On a side note, husk survival mode would be an awesome addition (read above how one of them was being swarmed by husks in proper zombie land style). Imagine that you just endless waves of husks, more each wave and you get credits for each wave you survive (something minimal for each wave, like 300 credits per wave, 100 for each difficulty above bronze or whatever heh).

Anyway, epic sidetracking aside, I'm betting we gotta kill sum Banshee this weekend

I dunno guys, as much as it does sound like Phantoms or Banshees, the distinct tri-barreled Geth Plasma Shotgun at the bottom makes me think that they may spam Geth Hunters at us.
