This is great, as long as the current pattern doesn't continue. As in Week 1 is an actual objective, Week 2 is a "reward". If the change means Week 1 is an objective, Week 3 is an objective, etc, then it's fine with me.

Either way, can't wait for Operation Exorcist!

I would love to see a Specific mode through on a specfic map for that weekend like get a reward for it. Such as all players must be Drell and only enemy is phantoms that would be like the Matrix on steroids.

Hopefully they are actual challenges, not just "play on a new map". Where the hell is the challenge in that. We have only had 2 actual n7 operations so far.

Were people on the internet always such a whiny group of malcontents? It seems some folk enter the forum just to have their b****ing and trolling dosage for the day.
I'm not happy with EVERYTHING BioWare does, but non constructive criticism is the lowest form of self expression.

Wow what's with all the hate? What the hell is it to you guys if they cut down how often they do a promotional thing? That's all it is. A bonus to current players and an incentive to newer players. So what if they cut them down to every other week honestly not alot changed during Operation: Goliath we just started farming Reaper instead of Cerberus, Nothing truly changes gameplay wise so sit down, shut up and play the damn game. Besides surely everyone here has at least ONE thing to do on the weekend other than play Mass Effect 3...

Really? You waste equip killing a banshee on its own? try things like...warp, overload and etc to remove the barrier, then incinerate, and armor piercing weapons to kill armor, no equipment needed, just tactics and skill.

yeah, banshees are no problem to kill without missiles (as long as your idiot krogan teammates don't run up to it on the extraction wave and try to melee it to death) if you ARE going to use a missle, be smart about it and wait until the wave first comes in, when they're all gathered around eachother, then shoot it at the ground in them middle of them and take them all out. You won't get experience for it, but missiles are a last resort for if you're doing really bad or just need to survive the next wave anyways. If you really want the experience, you wouldn't be complaining here, you'd be out earning it.

yeah, I can barely find the time to do every challenge every weekend. It's kind of annoying, so I'm glad they're only doing it every other weekend. Now I can hang out with my friends and do the challenges.

The way i see it...Rockets = Killstreaks, or hole makers when you're getting swamped...
