...it will take a player around 4-62 weeks to get all four of the weapons, and then it will take 16-80 weeks to get one to level 10.
How are these timeframes calculated?
two weeks per weapon unlock, 4 weapons to unlock, 10 max levels. Maximum of 31 unlocks to recieve all four weapons, 40 total unlocks. Two events already passed. 2x2=4. 31x2=62. 8x2=16. 40x2=80.
Technically, that should be 4-58 and 16-76, as we've already done got two.
Try using sensable math.
4 weapons, 10 total levels, first unlock IS level on...so only 40 total cards need gotten...one unlock every 2 weeks...means 80 total weeks needed, and since 2 of the unlocks are already out...78 more weeks till the people who started with Opp 1 have all 4 lvl X weapons.
78 weeks left.
I think you'll find that I DID that using sensible math. there are 40 upgrades, we get one challenge per week, we've already had two, that means that minimum (exploits excluded) the most a person can have is 2 of one weapon. that means that to get all weapons up to 10, it'll be 38 more upgrades. Therefore, the maximum (for anyone participating from the beginning) is 76, not 78.
Also, it is 62 maximum to have all weapons as there is a chance, while very low, still possible, that you could recieve three of the N7 weapons as level 10 weapons before unlocking the next, therefore, the maximum to unlock all weapons would be 31, as there are 4 weapons, getting 3 up to level 10 makes 30, plus the one to unlock the other weapon. So, 2x31=62, taking away the two we already have, which is the equivalent of 4 weeks, that's 58. That part's pretty tight, I have checked multiple times.
you imply that we either need 41 unlocks, or that challenge-one people only have one weapon. So I think you'll find that it is 76 weeks, which is around 18 months maximum, or 1 and a half years. Also note that is if we do not get cut short again by packs not providing us with the N7 weapons, or if more weapons are introduced into said packs. I think you'll find that my math is on the spot with what information we currently have.
PS. Don't attempt to stand someone up who is using statistics if you're going to fail at putting correct statistics in.
