I'll have to romance her next playthrough. Sounds too good to pass up.

Question: If you romance Leli, can you still get the chance to breed with Morrigan?

Yes, and she'll even use Leli as leverage to try to force your hand.

The Dead Trenches part. The whole section leading up to the Broodmother was the "creepiest moment" in the game, but I wouldn't say it was that creepy at all.

YES! the lead in was worse than the brood mother. the "8th day" line of the poem had me so creeped out i pulled off my headphones and did not listen to most of the dialogue there. to quote alistair: not listening! la la la la!

I liked the Leliana jar comment despite its potential creepiness. It was a rare opportunity to hear her adorable laugh if you respond with "Sure. Where's the jar?"

Far as my creepiest moment though: I'm adding my voice to the choir of those citing the broodmother lead up. Meeting Hespith wasn't that scary, but her words as you near her room and the utter lack of enemies plus all those fleshy bits everywhere made me feel tense. Like something nasty that could stomp my party flat was waiting arund the bend. The only thing that came close for me was the scene with possessed Connor and Bann Teagan's disturbing dance. Something about demonic kids always freaks me out. :o

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't find the broodmother's chant thingy creepy. Disgusting mostly. But that's maybe because I'm male (in sense, I can't be a broodmother. A broodfather, maybe... Oh god...)

Still, the elven orphanage was nicely done. Wasn't expecting that final. Also, when I saw the massacre at fort Drakon I was like "Oh god, oh god, oh god... AAAAAAAAAAARGH! Oh, it's... Sandal?"

There are other "Moment" threads, so I thought I'd throw my two bits in.

For me, no question, the absolutely creepiest moment is in the Deep Roads when you fully realize what Branka has done to her own clan to forward her quest for the Anvil.

OMG, just thinking about it gives me the heeby jeebies.

QFT

I wanted to send Branka head first into the lava instead of Caradin :-/

During the final battle, when you're going through Fort Drakon, and you find Sandal standing there with his weird lyrium-savant smile, covered in blood and surrounded by dead bodies... [shudder]

That freaky Broodmother. It may not been as bad as Fallout 3's centaurs but close enough.

I was tempted to make a vid of this on loop with The Hamster Dance playing along in the background, even just for my own personal laugh. Funniest part in the game in my opinion.

On the other hand, The creepiest part of the game would probably have to be The Orphanage, although they could have  made the Deep Roads extra creepy if they were darker than they were. Too much light down there, gives you a sense of security.

You might think me crazy, but my creepiest moment was when I finished the game - thinking of all the things I had to do and see to get there

I would LOVE to see that!

For me, the Elven Orphanage was the creepiest, followed by the Broodmother lead-to.

Even my evil bloodmage would not side with branka, after hearing from hespith what happened and branka confessing what she has done was necessary, it was really disturbing... broodmother is not half as creepy when being compared to a paragon's obsession.

The little girl talking to Kitty. "Do you like flowers? I love dafodils" Or something like that. My wife came in and was freaked out by the talking cat and little girl. I told her the cat was possessed by a demon and she looked at me, grabbed my kid and left the room with a weirded out look on her face.

The creepy part is your wife's reaction, I presume?

I have to admit the Brother Genativi bit was one of the few spots where I was truly unhappy with the choices/writing/actions. Both my companions in essence side with me when I warn Genativi not to spread the word too much.

My choices are then. Kill him, just say 'if something goes wrong it is your fault', or encourage him. The urn and the ashes were a big deal for my character and if you dagger him in the head your companions, who just 2 seconds ago were warning Genetivi of possible bad things are all over you.

As for the creepiest? It happened just last night in Denerim. I come into Denerim to collect some quest reward or other and right by the alienage there are 4 cats lined up in unision just standing there. When one looked left they all looked left. You could not interact with them. They were just there.....scary. Then when I came back after getting the quest reward they were gone.

Any situation where ur exploring and you hear something in the background and you see no enemy is pretty freaky! You know its coming, but the anticipation is quite scary.

The wifey especially dreads playing the broodmother part, too many fleshy disgusting sacks lying around the place I think.

The Orphanage didn't really creep me out that much, it just seemed to be a generic haunted building type thing really. The Broodmother was pretty horrific though, I found the thought that it could happen to Leiliana if you leave her behind at Lothering to be disturbing.
