The little girl talking to Kitty. "Do you like flowers? I love dafodils" Or something like that. My wife came in and was freaked out by the talking cat and little girl. I told her the cat was possessed by a demon and she looked at me, grabbed my kid and left the room with a weirded out look on her face.

The creepy part is your wife's reaction, I presume?

Yeah I guess so, but when trying to solve that damn flame puzzle the girl kept talking about flowers and giggling all the while talking to a demon infested cat.  I just thought that was a bit creepy.  To be honest Sophia Dryden's face and voice was a bit creepy.  She looked and sounded like the Exorcist.

The Broodmother was pretty horrific though, I found the thought that it could happen to Leiliana if you leave her behind at Lothering to be disturbing.

You tend to feel sorry for the female knights at Ostagar too on ur 2nd playthrough =(

Very true, especially as I choose the 'Tell me whats happening there' option the second time when talking to Morrigan in Flemeth's hut.

Does this count as a creepy moment in the game?

Maybe it's a secret shape-shifting ability I haven't unlocked yet.

When the curse is broken and the Werewolves change back to human form. Their pale eyes creeped me out.

I found the broodmother quite creepy as well, however I am surprised noone mentioned the Fade at the circle temple.

Perhaps I've seen too many scary movies or read too many Stephen King novels, but the whole Fade part really gave me the shivers. I imagined the Fade as this screwed up nightmare gone ev en more wrong where anything and everything you've ever been afraid of could suddenly appear and attack. The idea that you are wandering around in this empty "mock-circle" world with only the random darkspawn to shake it up all the while aware of the fact that your body is being devoured slowly by a demon freaks me out. I can easily see where it wouldn't take long for someone to go mad there.

(On a side note, has anyone brought the dog there? If so, what does he see in the Fade when you go to rescue him?)

The little girl annoyed me and reminded me of my ten years old cousin...you know those half-human little beasts.

Strangly, at that moment I was just thinking: how bad would they smell?

Well, from 1 to 4 with 1 being creepiest, and 2, 3 and 4 less creepiest

1. Orphanage
2. Broodmothe
3. The whole 'Branca" bit
4. The released werewolves/humans eyes

@ Kerilus:

That's funny :)

Edited: Cause the spellbug bit me.

Nothing, he is just sleeping (with doggy dream actions of legs twitching etc.) and you get a few options on how to awake him.  I think I chose 'move him from his bed' or something along those lines.  I was a tad disappointed.  They could have done something good with chasing rabbits or sqiurrels or bones etc.

There are other "Moment" threads, so I thought I'd throw my two bits in.

For me, no question, the absolutely creepiest moment is in the Deep Roads when you fully realize what Branka has done to her own clan to forward her quest for the Anvil.

OMG, just thinking about it gives me the heeby jeebies.

Did you find the codex entry about Caridin and read that.  My question....who did that to him?  Yup, self torture on a grand scale if he did that to himself.  Yup, creepy all the way around.

If memory serves, Caridin wasn't overly happy with the way the King forced him to make more and more golems from unwilling people. The King decided he wouldn't take anymore lip from him and had his apprentices golemize their master, but luckily for Caridin they didn't know how to make a control rod. I wonder what repercussions if any that sort of sacrilegous assault on a Paradon had for the King's rule, if any. It was probably hushed up since his fate doesn't seem to be common knowledge these days.

Potentially creepy was waking up after the love scene with Leliana to have her tell me she'd been watching my PC sleeping and wanted to put my eyelashes in a jar O_O, ahhh, bunny boiler syndrom I thought, run for your life!!! But I think that was just her slightly odd ways, she seemed all right otherwise.

Besides that, the Orphanage, the Broodmother (particularly when you start to think about what Hespith actually says and what that means in creating a broodmother), and to a degree that kid in the elven ruins

I actually missed the orphanage somehow. I'm very much looking forward to it the next time I complete the game though after reading these posts.

Branka, the whole Broodmother story.

I wanted to give Branka some kind of horrific retribution. I was so nauseated during the whole story arc, after Hespith's poem. I couldn't believe how horrific the writing was. Kudos to the writing team, you have highly disturbed me in many levels.

Gawdd... It is so hard to replay the game, for just that area, the evilness of Branka leaves me speechless. I even felt disturbed by having Oghren in camp afterwards. When replaying the game, I too, think of the female soldiers and knights and get very sad and revolted. I wonder if the upcoming "Return to Ostagar" DLC will address the issue.

I found Zev pretty creepy. Especially when I discovered I was in a relationship with him and I didn't even know it.

Hespith and her very disturbing poem, followed by the Broodmother and then Branka. Creeeeeepy.
