Rude Awakening for some, Goku16 up there wanted to bash my head in lol, some simply overlook the fact and didn't put any thought beyond, she is blue in choosing a love interest, yet they fight and fight on how they would never cheat on her as if this was a real relationship, rude awakening in having certain of you think about it a little longer.

Lets put it this in a comedic way.  You see a really goodlooking blonde girl, there is a chance that she is dumb as a stump and you know it, but you look passed it because she's attractive.  Then after a week you realize you'd probably have more stimulating conversations with a piece of driftwood.  You shouldn't be surprised, but you are.  Same thing here... except, don't take it as seriously, it's a game

I like Liara for more complex reasons than "she's blue" I liked her personality, both the original shy, sweet scientist, and the ruthless information broker.

She was probably one of the most dynamic characters of the LIs, when compared to Ashley and Tali

Because you're deprived of the experience of growing old together?..... I personally wouldn't take it very well that I'd age worse and worse, and she'd stay relatively the same

That's fine. It could certainly be a problem for some people, but a complete non-issue for others. However, that's a far cry from "not having much of a life with her".

I do feel a bit sad for Liara. She lost Shepard once and will probably have to lose her again (even though Shepard promises not to leave again). I get the impression Liara would have a hard time letting go, but Shepard would want her to. My renegade Shepard might even go as far as sabotaging the relationship to make sure Liara moves on. Anyway with the current ending Shepard won't be getting the chance to grow old with anyone.

Yeah, but you get to spend your life with a boring and bland character like Tali, no thanks. I'd prefer to spend one year with Liara/Miranda/Jack or well, practically anybody else, rather than a lifetime with that boring, faceless ****.

That's true, but not exactly my point.  If your wife ever asked you, "Would you marry someone else after I die?", say yes, and see if you're not going to get the evil eye for a day or two, and bed made on the couch.  Point being, avoid the reverse  by going with someone who life span speaking you would grow old with.  As long as Asari live, you would be a chapter in her diary, her other 3 husbands would help her write the others.  Suppose, it's the realization that I'm referring to.

Tell you what though, if they ever did another Mass Effect game set a century or two in the future, Liara could be a very interesting addition to the storyline. The story hooks and possibilities! They could have her as Councilor, Justicar, or still the Shadow Broker.

With bemusement, you do realise that it is relative OP, if a race live for one-hundred thousand years and never met a species with a shorter life-span they would probably never realise how long that is, it would be normal. Also why do I feel that Liara is more likely to mourn you for the rest of her life, I think that is the kind of person she is.

A first love is just that and always remembered fondly.  Even more so if you had a long term or permanent relationship with them.  Who knows what Liara might do after you die.  She might just concentrate on preparing herself for the life of a Matriarch and diplomacy and have little time for frivolous things, rather how I saw her mother.  Anyway, you're dead, so who gives a ****?

Also, it is suggested by OP that due to a lengthy lifespan, moments are valued less by the asari.  By the conversations throught ME, this is bollocks.

You know in rl, people die before their SO. So you know that when you are with an Asari, she will outlive you. There are people who marry with terminal illness to their SO, it does not make it any less valid.

In my Liara playthrough, shepard is obviously superman. He can also live for 1000 years. And you know what? It's canon, because I say so. This is my playthrough and not Biowares, problem?

Also, to people saying that Liara + feron sitting in a tree btw. They only knew each other for like 2 weeks or so right? Then he was captured by the shadow broker and held captive for 2 years...... Wow, two weeks and they are already in love lol? Sure, after perhaps. But I doubt it.
