Hm. I just did a quick test too. Warp III
damage / damage w/o any ammo = 1682.6 / 1246.4 = 1.35 even though «no
ammo» damage includes passive weapon damage bonuses (it's for Widow X,
base damage is 1083 as you know). And afaik nothing except for TC evo 6
changes the base damage, right? And I'm not sure that even this base
damage multiplier applies to ammo damage calculations.
in regards to the headshot VI thing, i'm inclined to believe it doesnt change headshots from 2.5 to 3.5
because that's a very small increase, you'd probably be better off with a rail amp.
+100% weapon mod is more balanced.
maybe warp ammo does less damage to barriers, I'm not sure.
Peddro has some weird wording in his weapon damage formula that might lead one to believe that, but it's hard to tell.
warp ammo definitely affects health as I described though.
I've used warp ammo to barely kill enemies with body shots.
if warp ammo was doing any less damage than my calculator described, I would know.
