Agreed. Although if BW thought they could make them work, I'd love to see it. Add the Protheans and add different modes, maps and factions, namely the Collectors.

Also, since every weapon class has 5 mods available, except the snipers, my idea for the fifth mod is "reload speed". It would be really beneficial to the bolt-action snipers, allowing them to fire one extra shot between cloak cycles. I know about reload canceling and I am using it, but still think it would be nice mod.

New power card, like the "reset powers" one, but giving you 21 more points, so that you can max all powers. It rarity would be "ultra-rare" and can be assigned to only one soldier from the entire class.

Earth Campaign: This is my brother's idea, but lots of you came up with similiar ideas. While Shepard is collecting allies for the final battle, Admiral Anderson and his band of resistance fighters (including Coates sniper from trailer) fight:
The Reapers
Indoctrinated Alliance Soldiers
and The Government.
The indoctrinated Government of Earth is oppressing the population (this was explained by EDI, so I am not adding more plot points for the sake of it) and this is slowing down your fight against the Reapers.
Second idea: More maps for horde mode.

Kar Shan (Baterian home world)

This is a single shot weapon that shoots a harpoon attached to an electrified cable. You can stick the harpoon into enemies or walls and then move the cable around that fixed point by walking. When you run the cable into enemies it shocks them and does some light damage.
Also, if you get a headshot (very hard to do, because the projectile is slow moving) you can whip your enemy around for 5 seconds and knock him into others. Then the gun sends a charge through the cable that does serious damage.
The back story could be that cerberus, the geth or the alliance took the kishok and modified it (kind of like they did with the black widow).

-Quarian Marine Soldier: Sabotage, Cryo Blast, Proximity Mine
-Geth Destroyer Sentinel: Defense Matrix, Hunter Mode, Overload
-Salarian Specialist Engineer: Energy Drain, Defense Drone, Sabotage
-Turian Sharpshooter Infiltrator: Tactical Cloak, Incinerate, Frag Grenade
-Batarian Shock Trooper Vanguard: Biotic Charge, Slam, Cluster Grenade
-Geth Plasma Pistol: A powerful sidearm used by Geth soldiers, fires a ball of plasma energy similar to the Geth Plasma Shotgun, but at lower damage. Cannot be charged, but boasts higher rof and capacity.
-DrellGun*: A lightweight sniper rifle of Drell design with an improved sight. Essentially a Javelin with lower weight, though without the penetration or raw power. Two round magazine with rate of fire similar to the Black Widow to give it a niche for people who want a lightweight rifle but some aim compensation.
-QuarianGun*: A fully automatic shotgun of Quarian design. Used to clear tight corridors. Fastest fire rate of any shotgun, though lowest damage as a consequence. Good capacity to offset lower damage.
-Firebase Siren: Based on Thessia. Open area with long sight lines similar to Firebase Hydra, but little truly defensible positions.
-Firebase Ares: Based on Mars. Tight map similar to Firebase Glacier, though with more avenues of travel.
*Names would be plugged in by the writers to suit Drell/Quarian naming conventions and to save myself looking dumb by trying to make words up.

These space hamsters would serve a vital role in the Galaxy at War model already in effect. Your hamster will appear with you in multiplayer menus (to show it off to the less fortunate Batarian races whom ironically look like hamsters themselves) and depending on unlockables mentioned above will offer a small subtle passive bonus to you in gameplay. A morale bonus. This could be +2% extra credits earned for the squad upgradable to a max of 5% depending on your unlocks.
Other passives/hamsters include:
+4% extra experience for squad (upgradable to max of 8%). *Shepard Hamster (complete with n7 armor)*
+2% movement speed increase (max of 6%) *Beserker Hamster*
+2% extra damage to biotics and force (max of 6%) *Hamster Adept*
+ tiny change to chill/freeze targets (much less effective than cryo ammo). *Siberian Hamster*
and more!
Additional unlocks might include hamster vehicles such as miniture models of the normandy, maco, asari cruiser etc which your hamster rides on top of.
Make it happen bioware and watch your servers become flooded with eager gamers hungry to farm credits for Space Hamster Packs!
Future DLC could involve space hamster missions on miniture maps where a squad of space hamsters has to deal with miniture husks, indoctrinated mice, and even reaper cats!

Personally I'm a sucker for new weapons, alien weapons, with all the racial culture and everything it's good fun to pair up with my unlock characters. If they can make it class specific compliment all the better. I sometime just go to ME3 for the guns, just fooling around with different weapons for the sake of it. It's not even farming to me sometime.
I also think at least a new enemy race or two would be nice. But what's left to explore from? Volus I'm not so sure about simply because they're so short, they can't even get above cover. But I suppose if they decide to make it they'll work around it.
My take is that some existing classes do not have dodge ability, I can understand a batarian full of armor spike can't roll on the ground a human class can, but what if I turn off the armor? I still think classes like Krogan, or Turians even, should have at least some form of dodging. Every classes should be able to dodge to some degree. My Krogan is an egg to a banshee, it's terrible. Banshee or Phantom got my poor Krogan so many times, so many times.

I'm sure this is at the top of EA's list for the new Mass Effect FPS-MMO.
