I think I would buy this DLC.

One of the things I'd like to see is a conversation between Liara and Shepard where they discuss about her long lifespan and what would she do after Shepard's death.

I didn't try out Miranda's romance in ME3 but was there a conversation about her infertility?

Nope she talks about the control chip she didn't put in ME2, and her sister. That orginization she faithfully served for years that has suddenly gone off the deep end though, who cares about that? Certainly not Miranda.

I don't think there are enough lonely nerds out there to turn a profit with this sort of DLC.

Been in a happy relationship for years, and I absolutely would buy a romance pack.

...Well I would like to. If I can ever get over this slup I have been having about Mass Effect in general since I beat ME3.

Me, my brother, and my sister are big fans of ME romance's, none of us are are "lonely nerds". Most of the posters here seem to be mature people who enjoy and support a storyline aspect of a good game trilogy. The only people who seem to come out as lonely (or angry) nerds are people who shoot out short aggressive comments without supporting text or context. Often with statements that often go against the overall feeling of a thread and derail an conversation. (in this thread its don't want the sims and get a life loser posts)

Even if it is true and there are not a lot of what you call lonely nerds. (I call them dedicated fans) a quick look around the ME3 forums debunks your argument that people will not buy a content expansion type of DLC. The overwhelming feeling is that the game was rushed with the ending being the biggest victim, but most agree that overall there could be more in the game if the devolopment team had more time. DLC gives the dev team time to add to the game. But this comes at the cost of buying an DLC pack and waiting for it to come out. (both of witch I am fine with)

Without hesitation.

Miranda, Thane, Jack, and Tali all need better romances. Not quite sure if Jacob really deserves anything.

Sounds like a add on pack for The Sims 3 or something.

LOL... my thought exactly.

That said, if you do romance someone in the game (ME series) you really should be able to interact with them more.

Cause, y'know, in real life, if you started seeing someone then completely ignored them 'til they hopped in to bed with you, then ignored them again, the relationship wouldn't last very long, lol.

Pretty much exactly my feelings on the subject. Plus, I do love a good romance sub plot in my books/shows/games/films, so long as they fit in neatly with the explosions and spaceships/dragons. It always bugs me in TV shows when two characters get together, then in the next episode, they're all but ignoring each other because the episodes weren't shown  in the order they were written, and in a game there's no such excuse for that happening!

Tali had a cute little romance. While I was busy hitting on Liara or Kaidan Tali was getting it on with Garrus.

I'd love if something like that was released. I absolutely don't mind if they have to put in content for all romances (the player shouldn't be "punished" because his/her preferred romance wasn't ignored the first time). Besides, I'll probably play most of the romances at least once during the years to come, so I'll want extra stuff for all of them. ;) But I think it goes without saying that the most urgent fix would be expanded romance scenes/dialogue for Thane and Jacob.

I think there's plenty of people out there (me included) where I think this would turn a profit because I think people would purchase more than one of these packs, should they exist, because they don't always romance the same person and want to buy more than one pack. I mean I always go for Kaidan and then Thane in ME2, and we all know what happens there. So, yeah, I would definitely like more Kaidan/Thane time and I'd pay for it. And I don't think I'm a lonely nerd. I'm actually a married nerd, but I think the romances are such a flush part of the game--they make it grab at you more and more invested. And I think that's part of the reason people are upset about the ending is because you found yourself caring so much for these characters, especially the LI. I think this would actually be a cash cow--charge $5 for each added option, make it add maybe 45 min to an hour to game time (either conversation or maybe a small mission, or both) and it expands where you get more than that one moment on the Citadel or the moment right before TIM's base. But I'm all for the moments that make you swoon, and I'm OK with admitting it. ;)

It would be too expensive, having to rehire a bunch of various actors for like an hour or two gameplay tops. Add to that the fact that most players probably wouldn't buy it, and those who did would likely only want it for one character, rendering all the others wasted space...
If it isn't on disk, it probably won't ever be DLC, for this game and others.

Voice actors have a contract to do DLC once the game is over.

I would have loved to have done more with Liara on the citadel, dinner? Father in law?

I would pay money for a pack like this, it would get them money to fix some of the worse done romances and add new content for all the romances.

They could even throw the femsheps a bone with an interrupt to save Thane.

I lol'ed a bit since presumably you did spend money on something else. Like games like me3 ;) .

I wouldn't spend money just conversations but if it was something like conversation plus a mission or 2, I might.

The different dlc could then be squadmate centric.

Better idea, go buy The Witcher II, it’s an excellent RP with a deep story and decisions that really matter, that actually change the quest lines in the play through. No go fetch quests just quests that relate to teh story. The romance scenes are many throughout the game and you actually see and know what the characters are doing (it’s a bit more adult audience focused).

There are better RP games out there

Change it to "The Companions" pack and include alternate just friends dialogue and the dlc would have broader appeal and be even more of a cash cow. A lot of people that might not care about the romance aspect might still enjoy missions involving each squad(former squad) member. I'd personally fall into that camp for Garrus/Kasumi/Moridin/Jack.

Except you can't play as a female which is the main reason why i can't really get into The Witcher games. I'm a woman and i prefer playing as one.

I'm not sure if this would be crossing the line or not.

Even I think it would be a little creepy to have LI only DLC and it might even be taking advantage of my unhealthy Garrus obsession.

But would I buy it you ask?

Yeah, I probably would.

What are you a troll?

Seriously, you are replying to a thread that asks a very basic question. "Will you buy a certain type of DLC for a space RPG" With an response that asks us if we are talking about an completely different game about micromanagement life simulation. You clearly fail at understanding what the OP is about

If your aim is to be a part of this discussion then please include an argument and reasoning behind your post, Otherwise do not open your mouth as it makes you seem like and angry moron.

Assuming that you are serious about your statement explain to me how anything to do with the OP's question turns ME3 into the sims?

Not that I'm against the idea, but more DLCs to let u have a fling with James Vega then finds out he's away enjoying vacation on some jungle planet while you're dead in the rubbles?

That is the beauty of selling such a product as a DLC, you choose if you want it in your game.

I think that is when it is appropriate to sell DLC is when it is ancillary and not story critical. That is what bothered me about “From Ashes” DLC it was instrumental to greater story.

Yep, I'd buy it. Extra subplot stuff is good, even if it's all sap.
