Was an IT theorist and hopeful, but while it hasn't been killed it is SERIOUSLY on the ropes.

In my back pocket as headcanon in case BW really derps up the EC.

It's just been far too long for this to be a mindscrew. The way to pull of IT would be to hide the data on the discs the game ships with (unlock via the Konami code? :P) OR release the DLC ending for free within a month of launch. Sure you wouldn't catch everyone surprised, but enough players would be hit to make a big splash with the public.

Alternatively, if you were thinking IT --> ME4 to finish the fight for real, then the cliffhanger ending should've been more obvious so as to avoid the ire. The Shepard Lives scene for example should provide more obvious clues that it was all a hallucination.

Its been stated that BW is too good to mess up the ending this badly, therefore we have to believe IT. But BW, by that same standard, is too good to mess up implementing IT this badly, so you could also reject the theory on that same assumption of BioWare's capabilities story-wise.

For example, the KotOR 1 twist didn't have Malak say, "What? You don't know do you...." and then roll the credits.

Is this making sense?

Let me start by saying that the evidence about Shepard wispering in the back ground of the catalyst's own voice repeating everything he is saying through the catalyst himself is proof that he/she IS dreaming!...............Indoctrination!

Second, It mite have been EA's pressure to FORCE Bioware to release ME3 at a certain time. This time may not have been enough for Bioware to REALLY get the game the way that they wanted so they tricked us and EA by giving a false ending THAT ACTUALLY FITS IN WITH THE LORE OF M.E......indoctrination!

This way Bioware can make DLC (that is already been taking months to do for JUST an ending with more cut-scenes) that they are already going to make and have there time to finish the game!

I will.  It feels a little rough with all of that London rubble around me.

London rubble?  That's Citadel rubble Shepard wakes up in, which is one of the many reasons why the IT makes no sense to me.

And Shepard surving that explosion does?  The rubble looks like what we saw on London.  And if you look at that curved metal structure behind the rubble you will find that it looks suspiciously like a part of the conduit that we see in London.

Bioware's annoucement did not say anything that would stamp out I.T. In Fact there announcement was to AVOID talking about the I.T.! If it was not the I.T. then they would just say it because there is no reason not to.

They've said that it will be more closure... And that they're proud of their ending and won't change it... That's enough for me. Plus acknowledging the IT will prove they've sold us a game without an ending... It's suicide...

We will have some good cinematics for the final battle and a good epilogue, where we'll for sure learn that the Starbrat, impressed by the courage and the strong will of Shep, decided to protect him from the explosion and sent him back to Earth on a stealth flying carpet. This end is naturally only possible if you chose the red button. Otherwise Shepard will be everywhere in the galaxy in the shape of small beefy, green or blue atoms...

You do understand that if that is the citadel then Shepard is taking a breath in a vaccume dont you?

If you chose destroy then ALL of the reapers tech is destroyed including the power supply to the citadel meaning that there is no life support at all! Also if you have not noticed, when Shepard is making his/her three choices that he/she is out in the vaccume with no envro suit.

Lastly the citadel has NO bricks...but london DOES and they are gray bricks. We see GRAY BRICKS around Shepard in a non-vaccume area taking a breath....Its not the citadel!

Suicide would be leaving the ending as is and attempting to explain it.

Your not understanding...If it is the I.T. then they CANT change it because it is a dream that shepard is having that he/whe wakes up after. There for the I.T. REQUIRES that the ending stays the same!

Next, They said that AFTER the explanation cut-scenes that there will be an Epilogue (which means the last chapter).

as far as the game not being complete look at my other post on EA in this topic.

Hence why it doesn't make sense to me.

Shepard was running down an open hill.  Even in the deleted scene where Liara and Garrus die the beam is kicking up dirt.  There's nothing even remotely close that could produce that much rubble.

You mean other than Harbinger's laser that can destroy dreadnaughts?

In the areas around (like on the sides) you DO see gray bricks and metal beams...just not RIGHT where he/she is standing when hit, but it is there!

Ignoring the London part for a minute, There is no way it is the citadel...no bricks and no oxygen.

Edit...there are plenty of hills in that area.

I know the IT by heart, I've respected it, tough I was always sceptical... Not because it sucks, but like I said above, the theory (it is still a theory isn't it?) would have been fun/interesting, if and only if: it's revealed, as the player is still at the apex of tension, otherwise it fails...

Why would have Bioware waited so long before confirming or dismissing the IT and risking such a backlash ?

It would be as if in "The Usual Suspects", we see K. Spacey/ Keyser Söze getting out of the police station, still limping, and then would get a black screen with the credits... Later we learn by rumors and without seeing it, that he actually walks like you and me and he's the bad guy... And Bryan Singer refuses to confirm or dismiss this rumor... Doesn't make sense...

One more point: The Prothean VI. I know a lot of things have been said about (non reliability, Shep was just on the beginn of the Indoctrination Process and so on...), not convincing me tough...
Further more the VI on Thessia said something about the cycles, supposing that the Reapers themselves were not the mastermind in this story and eventually controlled by a superior power, which could be a hint or an introduction to the Starbrat...

It's true. OK... suppose we explain that the reason Shepard didn't have a helmet in space is because there are some sort of barriers that seal in the oxygen and allow him to breathe. Why would they even need to seal the oxygen on that part of the citadel?

After that giant explosion, the mechanism would fail and Shepard would be exposed to the vacuum of space.

At PAX, Bioware said that IT supporters are committed.

And they are. It's a desperate, player created theory, a straw-man argument that can't be proven nor disproven, yet people claim it's completely true and always has been, based on more player theory and speculation.

IT ignores the fact that Shepard shows no signs of being even partially or systematically indoctrinated throughout the entirety of the 3rd game as he consistently acts against the reapers. IT creates way more holes than what already require explaining now. It would be a horrible idea to implement that and it will never happen.

Those aren't bricks, those are slabs on concrete.  This doesn't even look like it's outside at all, and it looks nothing like the area you were in when you got hit by the beam.  Look behind Shepard, more huge chunks of concrete.

Honestly the beam would have pushed things out away from the impact area, not pulled debris in and piled it on top of Shepard.

How do you know they're concrete?

Slow down the video, it is bricks! If you go back and look at shepard going through london saying his/her good-byes you will see the same large gray bricks on every building almost.

That's your interpretation.  Committed could mean that Bioware is acknowledging that the fans are doing their homework.   I never said it was true.  I only said that I believe in the theory and it makes the most sense to me.

"Fans are...committed."

And that's even more speculation.

And it's not an "interpretation", it's a fact.

It's a theory, created by the players, because they don't like the ending. Because it's indoctrination, it can be changed to fit whatever and however you want, can't be disproven. Because it's speculation by the players, it can't be proven either. At least until Bioware actually says something, but they won't.

And there are supporters of it who claim it to be true and anyone who doesn't support it is stupid.

And it's a straw man.

(So many typos)
