I was talking to Sten, the dutiful qunari and has his status meter to friendly (hard to get this guys to talk but since he's no-nonsense and has a firm soldier respect, I managed it). He mentions twice about a qunarian invasion about to hit Ferelden. Now, the codex also stated that the qunaris invaded some part of a land (I forgot the name) and almost immediately attacked, provoking a war that would last for centuries.
So, in my thoughts, this would be a good setting for a DLC or an event for the next game - rather than a Blight, it'll a part of another major war. What do any of you think? Is the qunarian a DLC possibility or an event for the next game?

Yeah, they are religious extremists and they seek to completely take over all of Thedas.
Currently they are at war with the Tevinter Imperium.
They are definitely a good candidate for the main villains of a following expansion/campaign/sequel.

There are definitely allusions to the growing threat of the Qunari. Also, it has bee stated here that another bight scenario is highly unlikely to come about.
