i play on console anyway so an MMO is clearly of no interest to me, with a story franchise i now have more hate than care for so im not buying dlc let alone a new IP.

I can almost imagine some of the ME3 team sitting alone at home crying while desperately trying to convince themselves that they are proud of the ending. Its a pretty sad scene. Its like their creation had such a wonderful future to look forward to, and now everything is lost...

Come to think of it, my citadel explosion was fairly limited there were a few small explosions and one of the wards seemed to break loose... 9k war assets 100% readiness...

Still I can immagien what woudl hapen when that thing crashes on earth... after all the energy beam and small explosions hapend on the farside of the citadel, probably enough to provide trust towards the planet surface...

Limited? Those ward explosions were the size of city blocks.
Imagine those going off where you live. Nobody's surviving those, and nobody's surviving period when the wards go down.

Sorry, when I play MMOs I play original ones, those that are not part of a franchise. I was less than impressed when Blizzard made WoW instead of Warcraft 4, and I certainly will not be playing a Mass Effect MMO.

My answer would have been: "cool! a BW-Mass Effect MMO". Lets do this. I'm so excited.

The real kick in the quad is that they obviously had no idea where they were taking the story, and now they are claiming it's art that follows the artistic vision of the team. This fails on so many levels, I don't even know what to say.

Also... MMO, really? How is this economically even feasible? The MMO market is oversaturated with the main genres occupied by major franchises and countless free-to-play models filling the niches inbetween. Further, an MMO is a long-term investement because you need a lot of time to develop it and to build the infrastructure with servers, subscirption and payment models, tech support, community management, etc. Then you don't make the money of the game sales but you want the subs from your long-term customers to turn the whole thing into a profit in the long run. And that simply isn't going to happen in the situation the market is in now.
