They keep saying "OMG you guys have no idea the amount of cool stuff coming your way." regarding Mass Effect 3 DLC.

A lot of it sounds very similar to what we got right before and right after the game was released. We all know how that worked out.

A lot of people are skeptical, yeah. On the other hand, Bioware is fairly good about delivering things we care about - if we didn't care about the ending, we wouldn't be here complaining, and this place would be mostly empty aside from a few dedicated people.
Agreed, but I wish they would give us some hints so we aren't reduced to rumors from 4 chan

My only guess is that it's to try and tide us over till the EC is released. I'd prefer them to say nothing so i'm not so built up to what is probably still going to disappoint me.

^This! I wouldn't be so suspicious or cynical about it if it weren't for all the inaccuracies in the pre-release statements for ME3. Either give us a real clue as to what's ahead or just forget it at this point. I'm so tired of the vague PR-ness.

Plus at this point anything that comes out of Jessica Merizan's mouth or keyboard, whatever, I basically treat as a super condescending PR girl jumping up and down telling you how awesome everything is and deflecting all the enormous issues while asking you inane questions while spamming emoticons all over the place.
Example:
Fan: Bioware' endings and treatment of me as a fan has crushed my soul and ruined Mass Effect for me.
Jessica Merizan: Thanks for the feedback!
lol ok, I overdid it with the emoticons, but you get the point, which is don't believe any of the crap they're trying to shovel our way at the moment, because it's all just spin. There are several significant technical and game quality issues that they are completely ignoring, and fans they are actively mistreating, while all the while aggressively campaigning as if ME3 were the next messiah.
P.S.- Not to mention that if they wanted us to get excited about upcoming DLC they should have focused on releasing a complete game that wasn't rushed, ruining the entire ME series in the process.

ok perhaps they do have content coming out that fix this mess, might even be some unexpected goodies. They can't tell us anything about it but they have to help people keep hope. Hopefully they can "clarify" exactly what the heck happened with the ending particularly, as well as certain other annoyances throughout the game.
that's the hope, unfortunately not the expectation.

It's called Integrated Marketing Communication. Sadly, I'm almost convinced that Bioware hired a bunch of college dropouts to do their Marketing and PR planning.
