They keep saying "OMG you guys have no idea the amount of cool stuff coming your way." regarding Mass Effect 3 DLC.

You don't think stuff you make is cool? What's wrong with being excited about your work? Geez, man.

If the cupcakes I made last week accidentally gave my customers explosive diarrhea, I would be extrememly cautious and restrained in my enthusiasm when I tried to convince them how much they'll enjoy next week's batch.

LMAO this

I think this was in regards to all the weekend multiplayer crap. We haven't heard one iota about other single player DLC's besides the extended cut. They've been lying to us for so long that they don't have any other way to respond to the ire level within the fandom. Had it been me I would have been talking to the fans letting them know why I said that and what it pertains to - not them, they're EA lapdogs and the boss is scratching their sensitive spot (money, money, money).

I bet it is nothing but Biowares version of the famous Horse Armor Pack (That super cool DLC for Oblivion)

Oh Bioware, you sillies. If I have no idea what's going to be in the DLC, and know that it's all going to be pointless because of the ending, then of course I'm not going to be excited in the slightest about it. I have absolutely no reason to take you at your word =3

Could you please analyze this thought for at least one moment(go ahead I'll wait), then if you still think this will work, could you SEND ME SOME?Image IPB

Think Gears of War (all of them)Image IPB

I'll send you some youtube:

Gears of WHAT? I'm here for ME3 not some other drivel.

Speaking of ME3:

For MP, offline support or Bust

For SP, fixes the ending or Bust

They can both be done and both workImage IPB

Please excuse my being dense, but how do you play MP, if you're friggen offline??

Contradictory or ???? Lan parties don't count.

Direct peer connections? Player run servers? LAN? (Doesn't necessarily have to be a party, you know. Some people own more than one gaming machine. ;-) Or friends just bring their laptops along. Many possibilites.)

Don't care what they bring out as I won't be getting it, unless it fixes that narrative travesty of an ending.

Hmm I mean how much and many DLC packages can they dish out during this year?

You got EC <---summer
Omega (or something) <---fall
Then maybe 1 more in in the winter?

To me it just feels like they will release Omega and "cancel" everything else out.

Umm... thanks? Why do they keep repeating that? I've heard it from Mike Gamble a few times and now Jessica Merizan. I understand being excited about upcoming DLC but to tell us its cool without us having played it is a little presumptive, no? I suppose though its in the same way that the ending would be "deep."

Gentleman, just don't listen to those clowns.

If it was so cool why wasn't it in the game? They wouldn't be releasing this EC if we liked the ending would they? they are just toying with are emotions. >.<

It's either that or they purposely released an unfinished product. Pick your poison.

BW has DLC plans and have moved their schedule for additional content DLC's (whatever they end up being) to after the EC. They had these plans in the works, heard feedback about the ending and have decided to do that 1st. So I'm sure once the EC is out we'll learn more specifics of what comes after that. The anticipation is killing me! I want MOAR!

They have nothing concrete to share, but are still being nagged to "talk to fans". So considering they can't actually give out any details, nor can they really tell you any plans, they just go "it will be sweet". Cause that's really all you can do.

My only guess is that it's to try and tide us over till the EC is released. I'd prefer them to say nothing so i'm not so built up to what is probably still going to disappoint me.

A lot of it sounds very similar to what we got right before and right after the game was released. We all know how that worked out.

^^^^Exactly this.

I'd rather them give us a rough draft on what this said "cool stuff" is instead of being so tight-lipped about it. I'm highly suspicious of BioWare. If it's "cool stuff" then throw us a bone or something. Give us an example of the "cool stuff" that you're working on. So I'm going to take this into account with a grain of salt, and continue to play Witcher 2.

For tehir own sakes they had better be right. I hope the fully appreciate the seriousness of the situation and realize that BioWare's existence depends on it. Fof if they fail they will no longer be of use to EA and will be eliminated in all but name. First TOR flops and now this....after DA2(which I personally did enjoy but they did get kicked hard for its flaws)

In the case of Jessica however, she jumps up at just about anything on twitter, sort of like a cat chasing the light reflecting off a spoon. Nothing bad about that, she just seems very excitable.

^This! I wouldn't be so suspicious or cynical about it if it weren't for all the inaccuracies in the pre-release statements for ME3. Either give us a real clue as to what's ahead or just forget it at this point. I'm so tired of the vague PR-ness.

OMG I've just seen my bank account! You Bioware Devs should really get your ending changed so you don't miss out on all the INCREDIBLE legal tender I've been saving up! :D

Oh and they'll be many variations of coinage in my money. It won't be like just "dollars", or "pounds", and generic stuff like that. There will be hundreds of different shapes and sizes of my money, some of the coins will talk and sing, while others can fly and make tea for you. Electronic balance transfers from me will vary depending on what you put into the new ending. It won't just be a single $15 transaction at all. Not at all. Would I lie?

P.S.- Not to mention that if they wanted us to get excited about upcoming DLC they should have focused on releasing a complete game that wasn't rushed, ruining the entire ME series in the process.

This.  I would glady throw money at them for future DLCs if they had delivered a gobsmacked totally awesome epic ending.. but nooooo we get rushed jobs and half baked 3 color endings that made no sense... :\\

Nothing will ever be as cool as the Horse Armour Pack. Mathematically, it's not possible unless you count the City of Heroes "Greek alphabet letters" chest insignias Pack.

seriously though bioware. if this is more MP crap just stop now* . No1curr, or at least the number of people who care probably isn't large enough to off-set the nerd rage chain that will be set off by hyping up a project and then telling us it's just more maps and weapons for MP.

*the vague commentary not the development though if it was up to me I'd say stop the development too and work on some SP DLC
