They keep saying "OMG you guys have no idea the amount of cool stuff coming your way." regarding Mass Effect 3 DLC.

Probably just multiplayer maps/skins. Remember their "big" announcement at PAX? We didn't even get to use those new weapons in SP. They've completely lost touch.

The MP is a joke. Most of the weapons are just pointless. The coding is in need of major patching. Last night while I was playing MP, I saw mobs get stuck in walls, shoot through walls, players falling through maps, and players that were unable to shoot any weapons.

If Bioware wants people to keep playing MP, they better start getting out patches for the broken content. Otherwise, break out the white flag to COD, GOW and Battle Field.

Sounds like more stuff to go wrong with a title.

Exactly. They really don't have any idea what they're going to do at this point. The Extended Cut hasn't even entered the production stage yet and they are still most likely writing scripts, dialouge and storyboarding. They aren't sharing because they don't have anything concrete yet.

More iOS exclusive apps in anime format that have Anderson as President of the Universe and Liara as the head of Cerberus.

I did a personal boycott on Ubisoft because of their online DRM.

Same here, every time a game has a little online universe its a boycott - I just want to buy my game, get the complete experience possible in that game, play it offline when I want, pause it, save it, quit it when I want - and leave it at that.

I think EA is actually getting stupider.

Yeah they said similar things pre-release, and look how that turned out. I find it really hard to trust people who have lied to me about the exact same thing in the past.

Then someone needs to tell them not to use their personal twitter accounts to market this unfinished product.

It really doesn't matter what they say since they falsely advertised the original product. Even if they make specific promises, they can't be trusted because they did that the first time around and seem to be avoiding accountability. What matters is what they can show us.

Mr. Gamble came on the BSN and confirmed that they haven't started production yet. But yeah, Twitter isn't a good place to market things. Far, far too vague.

Well we were also promised many things about the ending as well, but not too many of those things happened. So im skeptical at this point.

EA and its practices remind me of what Mr. Smith said while trying to classify humans in the Matrix.
They move to a new area, use up all of the resources until depleted, then move to a new area, repeat which is virus like. EA = virus.

You would think that they would realize that this became a problem the first time they did it. How many times to you have to drop a heavy object on your foot, before you figure out it hurts?

Don't ever believe another word that comes out of ANY Bioware/EA mouth until the product is actually out. We've all seen how they're willing to lie their ass off to sell their sh*t. I can live with exuberant marketing, but once you start making promises you KNOW you can't keep, a line's being crossed.

And that online universe thing sounds ominous.

Why are they repeating that? To keep up the interest, of course.
After all, they can't say "Oh guys we have some medicore, mildly boring stuff coming" :)

Why can't they just keep their mouth shut until they have a statement ready? They keep their mouth shut on everything else, you think it would be easy. :?

If this EC fails, we are going to hear another whine from people at Bioware saying " please don't flame my personal twitter account."

To that I say this:

Don't complain that your personal twitter account is getting flamed when you use it for marketing.

Agreed, I absolutely had it of having to go through these idiotic, pointless, obstacles EA throws up that prevents us from playing a complete game for once. From the catastrophe of C/C4 to ME3's questionable marketing I'm surprised it took me this long to "officially" declare war on them.(I havent actually beat ME3 yet so I cant say how bad the ending is, but I'll take the legions of other gamer's word for it)

Now some ppl like to twist this whole thing around I know, they say, "oh well ur being entitled!!", but wheres the logic in that? If I, or anyone, is simply fed up with moronic EA-forced decisions that do nothing but destroy the game series in the end, and want to get the full thing they paid for for once without stupid additions like "online universes"(game-tumors I call 'em) is that REALLY being "entitled"? I've been seeing the word thrown out alot lately, some who deserve it yeah, but like the word "troll" or "hater" its become way overused. x/

On a complete tangent, I just downloaded the Witcher 2 enhance edition patch for free. I didn't ask for it because the ending of TW2 was actually more than satisfactory. But CDPR said "no we can't just leave you at 'satisfactory', we must blow you mind like Geralt did Triss' *bleep*".

So bam! 11 Gb of new content for free.

I'm sure BW will do the same...

NOT!

I don't want to know the specifics of what's coming, so the comments by Gamble, Merizan et al increase my anticipation more than anything. I want it to be a surprise so that I can enjoy it when it arrives. Would you watch a walkthrough of a game on youtube before playing it for yourself? Didn't think so. I enjoyed all of the DLC for ME2, and I have no doubt that I will love all of the DLC for ME3. I'm certainly not going to get angry about the lack of specifics - some people seriously need to chill out and stop over analyzing every little sentence and tweet, it's just...well, weirdly obsessive. It's been written before and I'm going to write it again - if you have lost all faith in BioWare and have no hope for the DLC - what are you still doing here? Go do something you enjoy doing, life is way too short.
