They keep saying "OMG you guys have no idea the amount of cool stuff coming your way." regarding Mass Effect 3 DLC.

I DECLARE WAR ON EA
I did a personal boycott on Ubisoft because of their online DRM.
Same here, every time a game has a little online universe its a boycott - I just want to buy my game, get the complete experience possible in that game, play it offline when I want, pause it, save it, quit it when I want - and leave it at that.
I think EA is actually getting stupider.
Agreed, I absolutely had it of having to go through these idiotic, pointless, obstacles EA throws up that prevents us from playing a complete game for once. From the catastrophe of C/C4 to ME3's questionable marketing I'm surprised it took me this long to "officially" declare war on them.(I havent actually beat ME3 yet so I cant say how bad the ending is, but I'll take the legions of other gamer's word for it)
Now some ppl like to twist this whole thing around I know, they say, "oh well ur being entitled!!", but wheres the logic in that? If I, or anyone, is simply fed up with moronic EA-forced decisions that do nothing but destroy the game series in the end, and want to get the full thing they paid for for once without stupid additions like "online universes"(game-tumors I call 'em) is that REALLY being "entitled"? I've been seeing the word thrown out alot lately, some who deserve it yeah, but like the word "troll" or "hater" its become way overused. x/
Nice to meet other fan of C&C series, but let me remind you ... Kane deserves a better ending, but he didn't got one either.

A four hour meeting on the extended cut? Wow. That's a hell of a meeting.
Probably making up for all the meetings they didn't have for the current ending.

You're actually right about that one. That's four more hours they have to salvage SOMETHING.

How many of those hours were about the EC? To be honest, they could have spent 20 minute talking about the EC and the rest talking about other projects/dlc. Its just more of the same stuff they did pre-launch.
And this is why they keep getting into trouble with the customers. When you tweet about all the work that your doing, then when your finished product is sub par, people get mad because they think you spent all this time doing nothing.
If they're truely working on this, Bioware needs to stop tweeting over personal accounts and get to work. Cause at this point TALK IS CHEAP.

Ms. Merizan is also the community manager so talking with people is her job.

Three or four tweets a day by Mr Gamble doesn't mean he's riding around the office on a horse goofing around. It means that in a bit of spare time he shared a thought. Please remember that they are human and have all the necessary needs.

Well then they shouldn't get mad when they get flamed for using their personal twitter accounts as marketing tools.
Plus, it doesn't help their company when they tweet something that doesn't end up as finished product.

Well yes they can, cause it is not really marketing, it is their opinion or how they feel. Twitter should never be classified as a source of advertisement, especially since it is their personal accounts. The acutal twitter account for bioware would be the one to challenge.
*Edit*
Also for what they are saying well they cannot come out and say they hate what is coming down if they do want to keep a job. So it is either talk about something positive or nothing at all. I know for my company I follow the rule of not talking about anything we are doing.

Well then, when people flame her about a game on her personal twitter account, she can only blame herself. Why? Because she broke the rules of Social Media Marketing.
The rule is, personal account are personal and business account are for business. Its not like she couldn't have two accounts.

Glad to see C/C hasnt been completely abandoned(despite what's happened
Your probably right though, knowing EA I doubt ME3 will get its rightful ending. I think we have a better chance at least, with all the friction about the ending so far and an even better chance if enough ppl dont give in to the ending DLC. Either way, EA is #1 on my s**t-list. xP

Bioware and their employees may be fanning the fans emotions on purpose but they have to be careful because with so many collecting every tweet, someone down the line may say "they've lied" and go to court, with their comments as evidence.

You guys know that the descriptions on their pages say that their opinions are their own RIGHT?
After reading through these forums, do you think people could read it/noticed/cared?
The cynicism here is (probably justifiably) so thick you could cut it with a knife. Although the petty insults are actually amusing in a sad sort of way.

Thing is most of us are still, distrustful, angry, bitter, sad, resentful, suspicious or bored.
Maybe if these stupid teasing had come after a great and universally beloved end to a perfect franchise then we'd be right there going 'what do you think it means? Is it Omega!!! Oh my god its going to be so awesome!!!"
But coming after the ending, fans are ready for more of the same.
And Bioware STILL doesn't get that.
You know what would be very helpful. Very good to instill trust and make it harder to hate BW?
Post some day to day footage of BW working on the EC DLC. Show us the people working hard for us. Give little interviews about what each person does. Give us actually facts (not the whole thing, just small pieces) of what's in the EC DLC.
Honesty and clarity will work wonders, not vague hype and general statements.

They could have a live stream of the office working on it and I'm 99% sure people would still complain.
Make that 100%.
