Ok, what does that yellow banner mean? Obviously either I did something really wrong and I am nearly banned, or I am not fullfilling some unknown and obscure requirement. Please elaborate on this message I am presented with when desiring to post to this forum.

That is a thread (the error message is inappropriate) and it's locked. You can post in the forum.

It's not an error. You must register your game to post in some forums.

I cannot post in the Spoilers forum because it says I don't meet the requirements, but I have registered my game. I even purchased and successfully installed the Warden's Keep DLC. I thought maybe I had to re-enter my cd key to get the forums to recognize me, but when I tried it said something about code not valid. To confirm, the cd key is the string of numbers and letters on the back of the "manual," right?

EDIT: I just retried to enter my cd key and Finally the website decided to accept it.  Ignore my post.

They own it, they make their own rules.  I agree with them.  It controls the Trolls much better.

http://social.biowar...es_register.php (you can find the option under profile ->register games) Choose the game, choose the platform and then enter the key.

The Dragon Age 2 forum says I do not meet the minimum requirements to post on it. Whats the deal?

I got this message in a "Mass effect general" discussion thread about threesomes! I so wanted to have my say there!

But all the  other threads about mass effect are open. And I have rregistered mass effect 1, mass effect2, DA:O, DA 2 and have bought, and registered, pretty much all the games Bioware has released since Baldur's Gate.

If a thread is locked they should just say so! This is so not nice.

Why anger your customers needlessly?

Anyway the games are great and so on but little details still matter.

Only Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening, Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age 2 and Warhammer Online can be registered here; You cannot register ME1 or any of the other BioWare games on this site - And even if you could, the only game that has any effect on the Mass Effect 'set' is Mass Effect 2, which I believe is required for posting in a small number of the subforums, and General Discussion is not one of those.

The site does sometimes screw up with topics, and often all you can do is either keep trying or come back to it later. If the topic is not showing as locked, then it isn't locked, and the site is just having a bit of a fit.
