Just played the XBOX360 version...

I hooked up my mouse and keyboard attachment to the 360 (It's the XIM3) and tried a round of Multiplayer on Gold and enemies take WAY LESS shots to die than in the PC version.
I was shot over 10 times from a Centurion on Gold and my shields didn't even fully deplete (Asari Vanguard). I wasn't even fully upgraded on Fitness. Health didn't even get touched.
Insanity on single player for XBOX360 is also a joke. And I thought the PC version's Insanity difficulty was a joke. I never lost a bar of health on an imported ME2 save from my girlfriend's old playthrough.
So, just a heads up to everyone, for those of you on XBOX360 who say that Gold is a piece of cake, think again, try Gold on the PC. Enemies are much harder to kill and each XP we earn is actually well deserved.
For the record, I'm not trying to troll here, I've actually played both PC and console version now so I think I have a fair say in the matter.

I remember something similar on the Mass Effect 2 forums, where the devs mentioned that they made the difficulties slightly easier for console players due to an inferior control scheme (controllers). PC still may have it slightly easier since it uses a keyboard and mouse by default.

Yeah I knew something was fishy when I read that. I now refuse to believe anything he says.SR2O wrote...

Also noticed that XBOX360 players turn VERY slowly. It's like everybody's sensitivity is really slow. Then I got called a cheater because I turned around 180 degrees near-instantly.
I take it you've never played an FPS/TPS on 360 before? Not trolling, serious question.

In my opinion console/pc aside I like games that don't allow you to turn near-instantly. Add more danger to being attack from behind.

As far as the multiplayer goes, you may be right but what does stating this accomplish other than possibly inciting a fight over platforms? I've never seen people actually debating which system has the harder gold missions anyway, at least not here in this section...

I've played Halo Reach and BioShock on 360 with the XIM3 before, and in Halo Reach I'd see other players using the XIM3 before too, or they use a controller with sensitivity set to 10. In any case, watching snipers horribly miss targets in ME3 MP on the 360 is pretty embarassing.

Because it totally makes sense for an N7 operative or an Alliance ally 2 seconds to turn around while he or she is being shot at...Imperium Alpha wrote...

I ended up first place in my Gold match with about 80,000 pts on 360. The other 3 players called me a cheater. Second player had about 50,000 pts. Is this also not representative?
It's not representative to play a game designed for the console's analog sticks on a keyboard/mouse setup, which allows for much easier fine-tuning of your aim, particularly when practically nobody else is using that setup. It would be like me playing the PC version with my xbox controller plugged into the USB port and complaining that it was too hard compared to the xbox version.

You say xbox players haven't earned their xp... I think feeling like a neanderthal with the sticks makes up for it lol
I'll probably still buy a pc copy regardless. As I stated in a different thread

@tabaac: Yep, ever since I got the XIM3 my entire 360 experience has changed. In four player co oip for Halo 3 on Legendary I pretty much stay alive the whole time because of it. Precision aiming withe mouse is beast. It's Microsoft approved too, so you can't be banned for it
