Redcliffe is safe from the Abomination that dwelt in the castle, now you find you must quest for the fabled Ashes of Andraste to save the Arl from the poison coursing through his veins.  His brother, Bann Teagan, requests to join in on your quest to save his brother from this horrid fate. 

Female PC:  I would be honored if you would join us in this deed.
Teagan:  Fair lady, even if my brother's life were not so dear to me, I would find myself yearning to join your noble cause.

But in any case, most nobles are related some way or another so who cares, Teagan has a date in my tent!

I think he makes very few men jealous.  He is the closest to a universally loved character as the game gets.  Women want to marry him and straight men want him to replace Allistair.  Gay men took one look at him and told Zevran to beat it.  Bann Teagann is the man.  Screw Allistair and Anora, I'm putting him on the throne (too bad you can't).

Plus, he is a good fighter, pwning a few darkspawns in Denerim. He is the only character that manages to be serious, hilarious, cowardly, brave, lying, honest, hot headed, foolish, smart...etc.

You know Teagan would be an excellent choice as King, he's Rowan's brother like Eamon, Eamon is far too old, he's popular and if my noble female married him there'd be a strong joint claim to the throne with the Cousland name on top. Perfect!

Archer Rogue please. Game is melee heavy already (especially for PCs who like to play melee).

The best part is how he follows orders from his brother. Eamon will tell Teagan (what's whit all these EAs here, is that a joke?!) to stay at redcliff in case the darkspawn attack it. But in the last sequence, he clearly is bloody messed in Denerim. He doesn't even care for his lordship Loghain, but he even doesn't care for Redcliff! You gotta love a man like that. Well, not literally love, if you take my meaning.
Edit : also, a chance to use him as my champion against Loghain, make him go into the fade to save Connor, be the third choice between Caradain and Branka would be lovely....

Eamon isn't that old. I think its just the poison that really messed him up. He should be around 45 since he was 15 during the events of the Stolen Throne. Which makes Teagan 38 if the DA timeline is accurate anyways.



A friend and I joked around saying Alistair might say "But... he's old enough to be your dad!"

Get rid of Alistair and let us have Teagan. Part of the reason why I haven't played a female yet is presicely because I don't know who to romance.

Hey now, when she jumps all over Jowan and you tell her it's no more his fault than it is hers, Teagan backs you and makes her see you're right!
And there's a 95% chance that he's slept with most, if not all, the reasonably attractive female populations of Redcliffe and Denerim.  So what?

I fully support this. Teagan is apparently quite limber and is a total gentleman, I think BioWare does this on purpose. There is almost always some incredibly hot NPC that a portion of the population obsesses over, they have to know by now it'll happen. They're just tormenting us now, those evil, evil devs.
