From a couple of hours ago:

Michael Gamble @GambleMike:  What would be the most exciting place in the ME universe to revisit? Which time period?

Interesting question!  Looking at some of the follow up tweets it looks as though he's talking about revisiting planets/locations from the previous games, but from any point within the timeline of the trilogy (unless I'm missing something)

My own personal choice is revisiting the inside of a Reaper - but this time, it would be an active one, during the events of Mass Effect 3.  ;-)

What does everyone think?  Where would you like to go back to?

Ilium. I loved the the look of the cities, and I was intrigued by the Asari politics.

I don't like going back. Prefer going forward. If I had to chose it would be Rannock right around the events of the morning war.

Citadel, after the Reaper Destroy ending.. obviously after the ending DLC 'fixes' things (if it does).

While I didn't like the format of all the side quests in ME3, the ambient dialogues and little storys were well done. I see my Shepard living with Liara on the Citadel.

All depends on the DLC though. If things stay the same as they are now, to be honest, I personally don't care for the universe anymore.

Sol. After the Reapers have been defeated, Joker stayed and fought, Shepard lived and the relays stayed intact.
Think you can do that Mr. Gamble?

Palaven during the Krogan rebellions. Or if we want more recent, I'd like to see more of the fall of Thessia

How about Quality? I'd LOVE to revisit quality in Mass Effect.

The Rachni wars could be interesting. Right around the time when the Krogans were first uplifted to their defeating the Rachni.

I think it would be quite interesting to revisit Ilos with Javik along for the ride.

Also saw someone mention Port Hanshan on Noveria, while it is in the middle of evacuation... Haestrom seems quite a popular choice as well!

The First Contact war would be sweet. As well as something with Palaven and Thessia. Cause Thessia must have been very beautiful before being bombed to ruins, judging by the mission there.

I'd love to see a Mass Effect set in the 2010's, where (Farscape) an astronaut of somekind (player character) is accidentally teleported to the citadel and get's to see how everything works before the Mars-stuff and the Contact war happen. Maybe the PC could fight on the Turian side, in a 'Last Samurai' ish story.

Would be fascinating to be the first and only human on the citadel. All the aliens gazing at you...

Somehow I think it'll end up being Omega. But I would prefer Palaven.

I think they should focus entirely on fixing the game rather than expanding it further.

Not First Contact War, since we already have enough shooters.

Illium (no matter what time period) and Citadel (some time before the ME story line) because they are the most fascinating and complex places to me. So much do to find out about all kinds of individuals, their lives, their culture, how do they live together.
I've been wondering about that since ME1...

It would be curious to see Tuchanka before it became a nuclear wasteland. Eve hinted at the planet's beauty so it would be interesting to see what it was like long ago.

THESSIA we really saw nothing of the asari homeworld. In fact the only place of interest we visited there was the temple of old gods they dont even believe in anymore

Since we didnt go to Palavan - I would love to go there and check it out. We didnt even get a peek, just landed on the moon.

Agreed first contact war would be sweet as well. :)

Should have turned around when facing the temple. The City in the background was quite extraordinary.

I like archaic ruins. Krogans ruins would be nice or Ilos.
Or that massive mass accelerator weapon mentioned in ME1 and ME2 that shot down the derelict reaper with the IFF.
Or that elcor planet with the "figures of light"... finding out what that is all about.

But actually, the most interesting would be: Hanar!!!! I'd like to see their world and how they live. I see the problem with being underwater, though ;)
