Yes
money all over the world: green, blue, red. In Russia the cost of the
game of 1000 rubles, this banknote is green, the equivalent of $ 30.
The cost of the collector's edition of about 45$

Really? I bought the Collector's edition for 68 dollars. Where'd you get yours?
In hindsight, I should have waited for the price to drop to 22.89

"I think one of the long term casualties of this disconnect will be the future functionality of Mr. Hudson as a spokesman for any project he works on. No matter how this plays out (and even though I'm sure there is plenty of blame to go around over this at Bioware), he's become the EA poster child for misleading developer promises. I suspect that he will spend the rest of his days dodging fans and interviewers asking him about A, B, C and RGB endings. I have no idea how it will affect him as a writer/producer, but his viability as a project spokesman is probably at an end. "
I invite to this thread!

I honestly believe Bioware could have handled this situation much better. But the fact that Casey Hudson and Mac Walters have completely dissapear just enrages me even more. They happen to stop using Twitter on the same day, They happen to both not show up at PAX, they happen to be nowhere to be found. When are they going to stand up and acknowledge the problem, so they really think they can just dissapear in a situation like this...
I have a hunch that they're just going to happen to show up after the EC DLC is released, especially if it happens to be decent and actually manage to give us some closure. Anyway, I have lost my respect for this two individuals.
If I'm not mistaken both of them have recieved numerous death threats, so making public apperances probably isn't on the top of their "to do" list.

I wonder if feedback from the DA:2 team and their thought on their controversy shaped how this one is being handled.
I know the anger isn't as wide spread but the DA:2 team at least stood up and defended their vision.
Well thats the only reason why I still have respect for the DA2 team. Because they actually admitted, "Yeah we re-used to many locations" xD. Of course that quote isnt verbatum, but they still admitted to it. Same reason why I still have mad respect for the gents and ladies over at Bethesda for admitted what they did to Fallout 3 ^.^ (But Bethesda actually fixed it)

Seriously, if I were to venture a guess, I would say that they're on a 75 foot yacht in the Carribean Sea with bikini clad women (or men) serving them drinks. They are dancing the night away to Soave's "Crying Over You" with a Mclaren mp4-12c sitting on the top deck with about as much use as an average potted plant. Filet mignon quietly sizzles in the cast iron skillet on the lower deck. They aren't worried about fans, their concern right now is if they have enough Domaine de la Romanee-Conti Romanee-Conti Grand Cru to last through the night or will they have to crack open the bottle of Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon.
Nice fantasy world you live in.
ME3 needed to give EA/Bioware a positive PR event that they could use to rescue their stock value, which has been steadily falling for a while now. The falling stock price is costing them far more than ME3 made in sales (plus ME3 required a large dev/suppport team and lots of marketing - all of which eat seriously into the profits already).
ME3 failed to impact the falling stock price and EA/Bioware have become so desperate to find a way to put a positive spin on the release that they are taking comments out-of-context to try to play up the game (the now infamous blurb that said "ME3 has caused a larger reaction than any previous game" which was used in a positive sense in EA's ad, but which was taken from an article that was talking about how many customers are unhappy with the product).
ME3 did sell (modulo returns - I've not seen anything to tell me how large number is) so it is unlikely that Mr Hudson has to worry about being fired. However, I have to believe that he has burned a lot of internal political bridges since his game failed to produce the positive PR/stock impact that I'm sure folks were counting on. There were even articles about Mr Hudson on venturebeat.com saying how his star was rising. He was playing to the investment community and then failed to produce a result for the stock value, that has had to of cost him in terms of influence and political power.

People made death threats? My god what is wrong with the world. The game is great, the ending sucked, they don't want to talk about it, leave them alone.Laurencio wrote...

Although for interests sake I would just like to hear what they were thinking when they came up with the ending? And who they asked for an opinion on it..

I'd say they and BW could reclaim a lot of respect with the fanbase if they just came forward and entered an honest conversation. Explain WHY you think your stuff was good and fitting! Stop that bunker mentality!B3ckett wrote...

Probably on indefinite leave until EA calls them back....which won't likely happen soon and when it does it'll probably be so they can pick up their last check. They are solely responsible for this whole mess....not BioWare as a whole/company, not EA......just those two. Good riddance if you ask me.
You realize the Mass Effect universe is basically Casey's brainchild, and Mac was a writer through all 3 games (plus the comics)? I don't think we'd have this series without Casey.
They've done some great work throughout the series. The ME3 ending was obviously not their best.
If they are working on Extended Cut right now with the rest of the writing team, then I am perfectly fine with them being "off the grid" right now. I'd rather let them work.

Yeah, I get the feeling Chris Priestly is doing the same, after he gave a strong indication to me that Bioware originally planned to charge for the resurgance and Extended Cut DLC.

He refused to confirm or deny, and you take that as a yes? <_< Anyway, even if they did originally plan it, they've made the decision not to. So, point is moot.
Well, when they don't want to lie and an honest answer would only make matters worse, "neither confirm nor deny" is the default answer of every government in the world. Since intended to charge for the DLC and suddenly giving it away free would mean Resurgence was an obvious ploy to distract from the problem, the player outrage would likely only increase. The stock price would probably decline sharply following that confirmation, as no shareholder likes a company giving away things just to try to cover up another failure.
Still, if you sign everything with a
