Currently when sending invitations, you can see if your friends are in Multiplayer Menu or Multiplayer Mode. This is fine if you don't want to send invitations to people who are already playing a game, but it would nice to be able to tell if they're already in a lobby. We can still send invitations if we want (just like if they're in the middle of a game), but it would be nice to have more of an idea if we should invite them or send the invitation to someone who's just at the menu.
So I'm asking you, BioWare, please add Multiplayer Lobby as a third indicator. Thank you.
Would it be possible to get a little more detail when sending invitations?

Also, it would be nice to see what difficulty they play on (if the "join session in progress" option is available).

That's what the text-chat is for.

Yes, definitely. When I click on that, I always choose my highest level class because I don't know what I'm going to end up in.Head1essRooster wrote...

Because that's easier than being able to tell from looking through your friend list? This would be about making the process more user friendly.Dashmundo wrote...

By the time you input a message with the controller and send it, and they input a message and send it several minutes could pass and if they are already in a game they cant very well stop in the middle of a fight to text you back now can they?

Ah, controller. I guess it would make sense for Xbox.
On PC, you can send a message off between waves to about 3-4 friends quite easily.

It wouldn't be hard to have a few preset messaged that could be sent. One of them could be "in game already".

Yup. I have a chatpad, but even that isn't as quick and easy as a keyboard.Pyrceval78 wrote...

When trying to join a friend's game, why doesn't it check first to see if there's an opening before selecting your character.
Currently: Join Friend; Select Character; Game is full.

It would also be nice to have an option when in the game (both MP and SP) that you can let people know you're available for invitations.

Doesn't it show you their status when you look at your friends list? I know when I've checked, it will say "Multiplayer Menu" and it shows their selected class and level. When they're in a match it does show what level they're currently on as well. But I guess that takes time to go through each friend to get that info.

uncharted 2 had a system where you could see who was in a party what game type they were in and how much time had elapsed in the game. it also showed if they were in the lobby or in game.
they really need something like that here.

We send out random invitations over the extranet in order to learn about organic behavior.
