I'd consider whether the protaganist of a trilogy lives or dies being based on whether or not the player has either played multiplayer, bought one of the ipad apps or edited their saved game information to artificially inflate their EMS to be a pretty crappy state of affairs, all things considered.

Dying or not-not dying is not the problem with ME3's end.

Because I have ME 3 on PC, I can modify the War Assets file to whatever number I desire. A capability the X-Box360 and PS3 apparently lack.

They don't actually lack it.  But console users apparently refuse to learn how.

Still doesn't change the fact that they basically lied to the playerbase, saying it was unnecessary and the like and then turned around and made it necessary, lying to the playerbase and restricting what they can accomplish in single-player for their multiplayer. Who says it won't continue? Who says it won't get worst?

I can understand what you mean but I'm sick of people getting away with backhanded insults, so I like to make it simple and state that I don't like their attitude rather than lying through my teeth.

Good thing I didn't mention save game editing or people would really be upset.

Save game editing exists BTW for 360 at least.

Regardless none of you care to take my advice so I'm out of here before things get ugly. Won't be seeing me in this thread again unless things change.

Yes, EA has said that all their games must have online features. BU for DA and the games etc. we as DA players have since at least 2½ years or so could upload or info, our stats etc. to the BSN. And isn't BSN a social online universe?

Also to me it seems EA would like to make it so that people playing DA2 can play DA2 on their laptop when they're away, play on the ps3 or on their xbox at home, and maybe play some sidestory to the main game on their tablets, be they android or iOS systems...

I think that you have to download a program somehow... there 's a thread about it in the ME2 forums...

The forums are seething with evil and decay. Let's give it a good shake, and see what falls out!!

I was not aware of could and couldn't be edited without Origin handing out a banhammer or what have you. And now I know. And on that note, here's me leaving the topic.

I'm ok with that, as long as you don't miss SP stuff for not wanting to do MP.

Another reason to be part of the glorious PC master race.

I'm not sure I follow. :?

Very bad bad idea, ESPECIALLY especially if the only way u can access certain item's, endings etc is if u MMO.  I don't do MMO, I hate that shyt n to be manipulated if you want certain items, endings and having to pay extra on top of the game no ty.  But there's nothing in that article that points out DA. So for now I really hope it doesn't happen but I won't stress to much lol.

(On a side note that is EA related but not Bioware, I read that EA might of bought the rights for WoT.  That I can see going MMO if they ever get it out, which will def ****** me off.  Sorry being forced to play a game that you enjoy, but it's online only really does suck. Not everyone is made of money ffs.)

Makes sense as it's basically a stripped down version of Windows IIRC.

You don't have to hack the flash drive.

If you don't want to do MP on the PC, you can edit some game files and get high enough war assets that you don't need to do it.

with a hacked flash drive

Those will get you banned if Microsoft catches you though, right?

According to BioWare, you can edit the Coalesced.bin as long as it doesn't alter the multiplayer. There were some people banned when the game first came out for SP edits but that was because BioWare's system was returning false positives.
