Haha...depends on the person attempting. With some people, the ones doing so out of insecurity, I prefer to "kill with kindness". You know, I ignore the original insult and just be kind and helpful and generous and sweet...and just watch as the guilt buries deep down and begins to gnaw on their souls like a parasite. Watching someone's internal turmoil at their own previous behavior is quite entertaining. I have to remind myself sometimes to not grin like a chesire cat when it becomes unbearable for them.

With the ones who are doing it just out of being mean and obnoxious...well they get all out war. I don't have to physically hurt you to cause all sorts of misery for you. I just need to plant a thought in someone's head here or there...and let the sheep do the work for me. Not as satisfying as watching them succomb to their own guilt, but usually highly effective.
