So I am thinking of doing a full play through to get ready for the Extended Cut.  I am being optimistic that it will fix the ending, hope I am right.  Anyho, I really am not looking forward to dealing with the over heating weapons though so  I am wondering if there is a command that will automatically cool them (such as set Heat = 0 or some such).  In this way I could bind it a key and it would work basically just like a clip.

Does anyone know of such a thing.  If not is there a way to find the console commands besides just trial and error?

Thanks for your help.

Well since you're on PC, you can always just console a couple of frictionless materials x. That should pretty well deal with any heat issues.

GiveItem self 10 X_WGear_FrictionlessMat

The list of console commands can be found here: http://masseffect.wi.../wiki/PC_Cheats

Yeah I know that but I want it to work like it is a clip, so when I am overheating I am forced to hit the binding like I would to pop the clip.

There's no way to do that that, that I know of. You might be able do it by editing the coalesed.ini. I don't really think it can be done.

Hmm interesting question.

Out of the console commands I have seen, there wasn't one that would allow that.

I imagine that if you could edit the cooling rate of a weapon, you could essentially make it so that it never overheats. Don't know that there would be a way to hack it such that you can go from hot to ready in one button press.

That is my idea, but I can't seem to find a command. There is no reason to edit the guns as you can just get the 10 X_WGear_FrictionlessMat to do that. Anyway I looked on some sites for unreal engine commands but couldn't find anything that would let me list what commands there are.

At this point I am at a loss. i still think there has to be a way to do it though.
