hell an ogre emissary could be the boss for dragon age 2 if you are not going to have an archdemon I think an ogre mage would be able to organize a large enough darkspawn horde to have like a mini blight or (spoilers)







if you took morrigan's option

the ogre learns of the old god child and seeks to recorrupt it to once again become an archdemon you learn of this and try to find morrigan before the smallish darkspawn horde find her

Ogre Emissaries would actually be easier to defeat than the regular ones.
