Just counting down to Diablo III here. So, starting the 15th, yes for me.

Mee too ....
ME3 no replay value , MP good for relaxing nerves but I'm wainting for D3 for 10 years now

yea, 10 years. 10 years!! Years after D2 came out, people were still playing. How many games can do that? Well, there's starcraft, but what else?

I'll still play ME3MP though, maybe 2 to 3 more months.

I really, really enjoy MP....but without any actual gameplay enhancements and not just characters and weapons added...I feel like Diablo 3's imminent release will kill off at least 50-70% of the population.

Anyone else feel the same way? We need more game modes!

As crappy as it is, this game's MP never had much potential. This universe has too few species and classes and aspects to make a multiplayer mode out of, and the system isn't built for PvP.

The sad truth, at least in my opinion, is that this game isn't going to last. The multiplayer has to be really good or really general (see: Halo) to be replayable and soon, everyone will have everything maxed out and will just not want to play any more.

Everyone doesnt play everyday 24 7 like some forumites do. I doubt everyones weapons will be maxed anytime soon. Everyone doesnt farm FBW and buy Spectre packs 20 x a day.  Mass Effect even with the "bad ending" has a loyal fanbase. I dont think multiplayer will die for quite some time.

I'll probably keep playing MP until they fix the ME3 ending :P
Haven't finished it yet (have to attack Cerberus). I just cba.

And then i'll probably do another ME1/2/3 round and to top it off DA/DA2.

There's no problem with multiplayer dying off. The selling point of the mass effect series is it's single player, which everyone who owns the game has most likely played through more than once. So people have already gotten more than their money's worth. Let's face it, games like this aren't built around multiplayer, so ME3's multiplayer has to die off at some point.

Personally, I'm more than happy that I bought ME3. Despite the bad ending, you can't argue that ME3 as a whole is a really damn good game and that very few games today can compete with the quality of the ME trilogy.

I barely played twice a week before I was bored.

The problem is that maxing out weapons and getting new customization options isn't impetus for playing an incredibly repetitive game. New experiences are impetus for playing any game, and that's why you buy new games all the time. Upgrading from Falcon IX to Falcon X isn't a new experience. It's the same experience that plays out slightly faster.

ME3's MP offered one style of gameplay repeated over the same cluttered maps with small variations in enemies. Once you know how to play with the three enemies and where the obviously strong strategic positions are on the maps, you've essentially beaten the multiplayer. The only place to go from there are higher weapon levels (which let you beat it faster) and customization options (for the dress-up dolls in all of us). If you're not into those, you're screwed.
