I am having a problem with graphics only; a constant flickering that is seen in all aspects of the game with the exception of loading screens.  This includes gameplay, in-game cut-scenes, cinematics and menus.  My best guess as to when this problem started to happen was after a Steam Platform update.  As far as I know it occurs on the Normandy and on Horizon. I could not travel anywhere else because of the story timeline.
At the time of the first occance of the problem, I had "alt-tabed" to windows to check an unrelated iTunes download.  I was informed of a Steam Platform update.  I then went back into Mass Effect 2, saved the game, quit, finished the update and restarted Steam.  Upon returning to the game I noticed a 2mm flickering line at the top of the main menu. Then returning to my saved game the flicker had taken the whole screen.  No colors were affected.  The flicker consits of 1 inch horzontal bars all across the screen.  I read some of the forums but had not seen anything quite so drastic as this.  However, not many people descibe their problems so intricately.  PLEASE HELP!!
