Not sure if serious........ Disappointed if yes........
On topic: XBL. I'd stick to my PC, but I really don't like the keyboard/mouse controls for ME.

If I can get it on PC, I will...ignoring the fact that I don't actually own a 360 atm.

Probably a stupid question but...do the different platforms play matches together? Like can you have a single game with some players playing on PCs, some on Xboxes, etc?
Nope. They play differently due to different input devices and have a different server front-end (PSN vs XBLive vs Origin).
Even if the technical difficulties could've been solved, the different networks simply rule them out.

Are you sure? The different networks problem isn't unsolvable, I think Microsoft once wanted Games for Windows and XBox Live players to be able to play multiplayer games together.

If MS had any supervision on the PC front-end, maybe. But Origin points vs MS points, and from what I gather Microsoft is trying to do away with the stupid point system anyway and just go for $. And then there's Sony...

Which is kind of sad, since back in the day there were a number of games that both xbox and PC players were able to play together. Ofcourse that was back in the day when multiplayer was still considered just a feature to draw in extra players, instead of the cash grab that its become now.vivanto wrote...

PC. Saw how the controls are for the 360. Did not like how you had to pause the game to select your power. Much prefer using a shortcut key on the keyboard for a much more seamless play
You can hotkey powers to Y,rb and lb.

Wait, what? There was Shadowrun, annnnnd... That's it. Unless I'm missing something. There were games released on both XBL and GFWL, like Halo 2, Gears of War, etc., but the only game that played cross-console was Shadowrun, to my knowledge.
Valve/Sony recently tried their hand at it with Portal 2. No idea how well it worked, but I'm glad they tried. Shame Microsoft didn't take advantage of the fact that they ****ing made Windows.
Seriously. MSFT's utter lack of urgency on the PC gaming market baffles me.

Yeah, only three hotkeys. On PC you have 8. On Xbox, you still have to pause to select a specific weapon or use any non-hotkeyed power. Which is unfortunately probably why the multiplayer combat is so dumbed down compared to the single player combat. We're restricted to three powers and two weapons because console controls can only handle three hotkeys, and you can't be pausing the game to select a power in the middle of a multiplayer match. I played the first two games on Xbox, then switched to PC and re-bought both of them + ME3, and the gameplay for all three games is much smoother on PC.Emzamination wrote...

So you can't play decent strategy games, decent shooters, you have stupid sports games, and mindless fighting games. And you cannot pirate anyithing on your console. And you call yourself a gamer. HHAHAAHAHAHA loser.

Pro: You can still move the camera while holding down the pause button allowing you to evaluate the battle field and formulate a sound strategy as well as avoiding being shot while switching weapons.Anyone that proclaims themselves commander John/jane rambo running head
first around insanity never once pausing is either lieing, dieing
repeatedly or using cheats.
You only get like 3 or 4 offensive powers with the exception of Adepts in each class, ammo powers don't need a hotkey because they don't have a time limit.I am however curious about why you would need more than two weapons especially with the Weight drain on powers and besides that if your a real boss on the field even two is too many.

They tried this with Halo back in the day. They discovered that PC gamers dominated every game, due to the speed and precision of mouse aiming. They scrapped the idea of cross-platform multiplayer after that.
