Its hardware seems sufficient.

PC. Saw how the controls are for the 360. Did not like how you had to pause the game to select your power. Much prefer using a shortcut key on the keyboard for a much more seamless play

You can hotkey powers to Y,rb and lb.

Yeah, only three hotkeys.  On PC you have 8.  On Xbox, you still have to pause to select a specific weapon or use any non-hotkeyed power.  Which is unfortunately probably why the multiplayer combat is so dumbed down compared to the single player combat.  We're restricted to three powers and two weapons because console controls can only handle three hotkeys, and you can't be pausing the game to select a power in the middle of a multiplayer match.  I played the first two games on Xbox, then switched to PC and re-bought both of them + ME3, and the gameplay for all three games is much smoother on PC.

Pro: You can still move the camera while holding down the pause button allowing you to evaluate the battle field and formulate a sound strategy as well as avoiding being shot while switching weapons.Anyone that proclaims themselves commander John/jane rambo running head
first around insanity never once pausing is either lieing, dieing
repeatedly or using cheats.

You only get like 3 or 4 offensive powers with the exception of Adepts in each class, ammo powers don't need a hotkey because they don't have a time limit.I am however curious about why you would need more than two weapons especially with the Weight drain on powers and besides that if your a real boss on the field even two is too many. ;)

Of course I still would use the combat pause at times during single player.  I rarely use it though.  Don't really need it when I can have everything hotkeyed.  I'd probably use a bit more on an Insanity playthough, but I haven't been able to replay single-player after the horrendous ending :(

Also, Sentinel has 6 offensive powers if you count tech armor, plus the bonus powers you can get.  Sentinel also has lots of weight reduction. I'd usually rock a heavy pistol, Shotgun, and and AR without a lot of impact on weight.  Not having to pause all the time just makes the combat more fast-paced and fun IMO.

I have a PC. I tried the demo of Mass Effect 2 on the console. If I could use a mouse and keyboard I would have liked it. Otherwise, trying to aim with a console controller is really hard for me. Last time I owned a console was back in the SNES days. Before I got a PS3 for movies. Maybe I'm not used to the controls.

Nothing against console gamers, but the consoles themselves can go explode

PC - Been playing on PC since I had my first Amstrad CPC464 tape drive.
Hell I remember the new exciting invention that was the 3.5" floppy disk in the 1980's as prior to that as I said I was using a tape drive and an old 5.25" floppy drive.

Xbox, I wish I could afford a decent pc since I am a terrible sniper without a mouse.
