On the Second Level during the Circle Tower questline, you come across a trio of blood mages. One of them asks you to spare her life. If you do, does it have any effect later on? I haven't come across it yet, if it does.

I haven't seen any impact. I guess it's just another moral choice to boost a members approval or whatever.

It didn't boost or lower any approval that I recall.
I let her go and there was no effect on the game that I noticed.

I came across a series of choices that has you recruit that blood mage and send her to fight darkspawn.
A shame nothing seems to come from that.

Yeah no approval gain/loss from killing her or letting her go, not much xp for killing her and no loot, nothing for letting her go.

I always kill her without thinking twice about it.
