I'm sure this has been asked for a few times, at least. But I would really like some kind of vote kick during the match itself. A team mate and I bled out on Wave 10. The last two guys got down to the final guy and guy avoided him for half an hour before they got bored and left. Some kind of timer for a wave would be an easy fix. Something like 20 minutes per wave would work. Please, do something about this crap. It's not the first time it's happened.

Would not be opposed to this - had three rounds with leechers today and really wished I could get rid of them. Still finished, no problem, but I hate giving people free exp and credits for doing zilch, especially that Batarian Soldier with the 988 N7 rating.

Potential for abuse is high though.

This, unfortunately.  The best you can do is take not of the player and avoid playing with them in the future and explain your experience to the rest of the lobby should you end up paired with him again.

I do not support this. If someone comes into your game and has a bad Wave or two you kick them? What if the person is actually quite good but is just warming up, or just having some bad luck at the moment? If you disagree with a person's choice of tactic in a situation you kick them? I can see this getting out of hand and downright stupid.

A mission timer, on the other hand, I can get behind.

Pros:
-You can kick leechers
-You can kick people that are really really bad and just running in circles shooting the roof/skies.
-You can "input random reason here"

Cons:
-You can get kicked because you are ten times better than everyone else and kill all enemies to fast.
-You can get kicked because you don't want to follow their camping tactics (Firebase White/Gold/Geth farm)
-You can get kicked for "input random reason here"

I know right?
People was really mad at me for dying a lot on my geth infiltrator melee build on wave 1-2.
But that's because I was just home from work and hadn't got my fingers warm yet.

I think the potential for abuse is really high. While this seems like a good idea at first, I believe it would cause more problems than it would solve.

There should be a way to kick in-game. The way to make sure it only gets used for leeches/AFKers is you can only vote to kick if the player has had no activity or no score for the last 2 minutes. Maybe also an option to kick if the player has less than 10% of the top players score?

I know gears 3 automatically kicks players from horde or mp after a certain amount of inactivity, but it's the system, not players kicking players. I would find this acceptable. I still think players kicking other players in game is a bad idea.

Agreed. It would become a kick-fest. You know there are many immature childish players out there who would misuse the proposed solution.

Yeah an auto-kick for inactive players would be the best solution.

I'd love the idea - then you could just kick that idiot who got himself stabbed by the banshee in wave 11 to get full extraction. Surely, that mistakes warrants a forfeit of all XP and credits...

Further, since it's very very rare that more players join a game after one guy leaves you might just as well wipe.

Leechers from my experiences have been few and far between, but now it seems people are getting increasingly lazy, and they pop up more frequently, at least 2 or 3 a day, and it gets tiring...I dont revive them...if I am being chased by a Brute or Banshee..I run right toward them if I can.so then I can definitely get away while they play kickball with that leeching scumbag. The little things...oh the little things.

In my experience, not all afkers are leechers. Sure, a lot of them are but you'll also have the ones with a legit excuse to be away. A surprise bathroom break, a phone call, people at your door etc etc. Do does people deserve to be kicked too?

But yeah, when it's a leecher they're always easy to identify. A timer I can support but I'm iffy on voting in the game. Maybe if the host has two votes or something so he/she is the one with the call to make. I dunno.

hehe nice idea,tho i think there should be some penalties for players who leave during match,coz it happen a lot on wave 10 i notice we miss 1 or even 2 guys,dk is it dc or what but it sucks,also once happend i hear 2 guys arguing on chat saying some "words" and it ends by 1 of them leaving

Huh...I think I played with you in a couple of random matches once. At least it was the same username, and a geth infiltrator IIRC.


Anyway, I do not agree with this. There are already lots of people complaining about getting kicked out of the lobby for having a low N7 rating on BRONZE. It would just make the game incredibly frustrating.

IMO there should be a vote kick option.

After all if all 3 other players agree that they don't want you in their game, there is no reason why they should be forced to suffer your presence no matter the reason.


Though I can't say if I am pro or against giving credits to kicked players.

(As it can be a group of 3 players acting for their own amusement playing with people and kicking them for fun on extraction wave just so that the 4th person doesn't get credits).

Right now our only option is to leave games with leechers - which is what I did last night. The moment my friends list people went to bed I played with randoms and the first game had a leecher.

I warned the other 2 randoms in the game I was leaving (and told them why) and left.

Right now there are ideas floating around but there's no guarantee BW will implement or even consider them. But at the moment leaving is our best (only) option.

You get a leecher,get on the mic and call him out for the dick he is....then leave the match.
Kicking people will not and should never be an option.
Too many dumb asses would abuse the system. I get kicked from time to time for dominating a match if Im in the mood to wreck **** and thats stupid. Kick the top scorer and the guy who carried the team? Bad players with ego issues would have a kick fest..no thank you.

If there was a kick there you should not be able to kick from level 8 onwards... too easy to kick someone just before pickup so the rest get a higher percentage of points and the kickee gets nothing.
