I already have access to these through an Ipod, but I still support this petition.[/signed]

Its stupid that other Mass Effect fans miss out on these apps JUST because they own a different mobile device. I understand it takes work for these things to play on different platforms, but I'm sure the Android phone is more than capable of running both Datapad and Infiltrator.

Was it free on iOS?

Yes.

Well then I'd guess it's EA being socialy awkward as they are, lazy or they made a deal with apple.

That's most likely, but: Why?
I mean, I get where the platform-exclusives of games come from, but a free app? Who would buy an iPad for Mass Effect Datapad? Apple takes no advantage out of it.

Basically, from what I know (and I don't know that much about it), stuff for iOS is wrote in C or some form of C while android games and such are written in Java. It would require porting, someone would have to do the port and someone would have to get payed for doing so.

Another thing is that Androids are way less secure than iOS is, piracy, hacking, tinkering. Stuff like that.

I use iOS, but I think Android users should get it to.

Or not.
Have proof of an agreement?
Didn't think so.

Ios is simpler to develop for.  Android is not worth the hassle due to fragmentation.

Make it a web app and be done with it.

Why do they release all the adorable applications iOS exclusively? Infiltrators, Datapad.. I mean, they don't even release any games on OSX anyways.

As an Android phone owner, I strongly believe that BioWare should release an android version of these, at least Datapad! It's basically "mandatory" thing to see the "best" ending(Still sucks anyways), if you do not play multiplayer.

So you want more Mass Effect 3 cheap marketing material?
I'll skip. Let's hope this virus called 'EA marketing' stays Apple exclusive. Seems to be a nice match.

What's so wrong about a free app which gives you additional connection to characters?

Because it doesn't matter? Nothing you do in ME3 matters in the end.
EA won't change it's policy's if we keep falling blindly for these marketing tricks. It's a farce.

EA announced recently that they're going to do this sort of thing with all their games from now on. That's EA for you. Some marketing department drone figured out that this is a good way to leash customers and further erode the used games market, so now every single EA game must have it, no matter if it makes sense. Remember how every single EA game suddenly had to have multiplayer? Yeah.

So if they're going to do it, f**king include Android versions already.
