I'm still confused about this whole thing? Mass effect 3 had a ****ty ending, so what? The last airbender and percy jackson were movies that sucked beyond previous levels of suck for an adaptation movie. They made me rage more than anything else in the world, killed me a little inside too as a fan. But that didn't stop me from seeing the new legend of korra show, or buying the latest books in the olympians series, or even seeing other adaptation movies. I saw how to train your dragon after percy jackson and that cheered me right up.
What I want to know is how an ending that is simply mediocre in a game that is mostly awesome and good not only kill off a persons interest in playing the game, or the other games which the op thinks are better, but in all video games? I see a lot of people agreeing with op, but I question their judgments and cannot grasp their perspective. I love films, and I've seen the worst that films can do, from the horribly funny like the happening and birdemic to the horribly-bland and actiony like transformers 3, to the horribly bland like pirates 4, to the horrible like repo men the american remake, the terrible like the gamera films, to the terribly awful like the unriffed version of tiger love and drunken wu tang, to the I don't even know of Alejandro Jodorowsky's holy mountain, to the I want to die films of serbian film(could only watch a few clips from youtube and a synopsis), Jan Švankmajer's alice, and all the horrible adaptations to things I love, this is where you belong batman and robin, THIS IS WHAT YOU FELT LIKE TO ME!!!
Point is I have seen the worst of the worst and I still love films. You have seen 1 crummy ending to an otherwise great game. How can it possible destroy your passion for an entire industry, series, and media?
