I romanced her in ME2
I warned her about Kai Leng (I remember that she already knew his name...), so I did read KLs dossier
I gave her the alliance assets
I chose the paragon answer with her father/sister situation
I did not turn her down in ME3

But she dies nevertheless!

The only thing I could imagine why this happens is that I kissed Liara once on the citadel, but this is no reason for Miranda to die! I don't have the time and joy to replay hours of the game to stop Miranda from dying!

This sucks.

Did I do sth. wrong? I some forums they are assuming that is has sth. to do with the readiness level (I'm at > 4000)

By paragon option, do you mean the one on the upper right or upper left? The only way to save Miranda is use one of the persuade options.

Even if Miranda wasn't there to witness you kissing Liara, the game knows you did. Miranda dies if you break up. Liara locked in, Miranda break-up locked in. Game mechanics, holmes.

That's unlucky. I assume you did her loyalty mission correct? I would double check to see if you meet all the requirements to save her. Its odd that you have all of those you listed and couldn't save her.

You don't have to romance Miranda to save her. She lived in my femshep game and femsheps can't romance Miranda.

But maybe you broke up with her.

To be honest, it was either the kiss with Liara that had Miranda die off OR it's a bug in the game. Since I've yet to play it as male Shepaloo, I'm not sure if it's the romancing bit for sure.

I've played ME3 a few times with my FemShep and did everything you did minus the romancing Miranda part (since FemShep obviously can't romance Miranda anyway). And I had no problems with her living each time.

Just uh, don't kiss someone else before you save Miranda and her sister next time, Mav2000ger. Damn skank pirates.

OK I'll admit it...........I played thru 4 complete times, and only once had Miranda die. first game.

I just spent some time with her in her room on the Citadel and we managed to find something to do in our spare time to relieve the tension even though I spent some time with Liara also.
Both still alive at this point in the game.

BTW, Bioware could learn a thing or two from the devs of the Witcher 2. Their encounters are little be more detailed than a fade out and then reappearing in the hall outside Miranda's room.

Well I was able to express interest in Liara and Miranda in ME3(I was unable to get the romance scene with Miranda...unfortunately, But I got it with Liara) So romancing someone else isn't going to kill Miranda at least in my expeiences from doing a renegade playthrough without romancing Miranda and a paragon with romancing(or expressing interest) in Miranda.

just double checking..... you talked to her 3 times before sanctuary right? first time near the docking bay, second time via holo in the specter office, and then in one of the apartments in the commons. all of that happens before the mission to save her sister. maybe it's because I play femshep, but in my 4 play-throughs she has never died.
