So is the any chance that a character could have the chance to learn a talent, or group of talents from another class. Basically I would LOVE if my AW could dual wield long swords, and am wondering if there is absolutely ANY chance that, through the magic of DLC, a tome could be found which would allow you to say, learn one talent group from another class.
I would definitely appreciate it.

The UI would be nuts.

My character is a Nobel Mage/AW with some rogue, warrior and Templar abilities. Makes for a great character going solo.

the OP wasn't suggesting that you learn ANYTHING... or that you find more than one tome. I was thinking that it's more of a tome that would add a talent point that can be spent anywhere (whether on a warrior skill, a weapon mastery skill, or a spell) excluding specializations, and then closes all those trees again, excluding the tree where the point was spent. basically adds another 4 spells/skills that you can learn. I, for example, would have very much liked to learn all the dual weapon mastery talents so my AW could use both starfang and spellweaver, or learn all the shield bash talents so that it's more than just an extra bit of armor.

Its entirely possible for one character to have access to every ability. You have to play the PC version of the game to do it however. I wouldn't recommend it. It's easy to learn how, but once you have learned how the game will be spoiled unless you exercise some self-restraint.
I tried it once, just for fun. I enabled the console and put together a CRAZY list of abilities. It's fun for one play-through. After that, it just gets boring. My current playthrough I'm playing the game with the console off. It's much for more fun and challanging with limitations.

Alpha killer, that was EXACTLY what I was talking about... and exactly the reason I want it haha. Spell weaver and Starfang are just so awesome!

Any chance we could see something like this in future DLC? Or maybe even more talents for the specializations... i.e. more AW talents... like the ability to specialize in a weapon

I feel the same way as this entire thread! I read the booklet and my initial setup for my character was going to be a Mage as a Champion -- BloodMage! Now that would be a real devastation on the battlefield! I could even see a Dwarf being a true warrior and a rogue as Berserker -- Assassin. Then I got to playing and reading the forums and found disappointment. I suppose as far as the storyline goes, one isn't suppose to cross paths. Traditions are of the highest morality!
I guess it goes without saying that I wouldn't want to own a Fortune 500 company and be a terrorist! I'd literally be making a killing off my competition! LOL!
