Liara's "gift" to Shepard. WTF was it?

It was a little weird and awkward when she put her head on my shoulder because my best friend and I don't even do that, but I had to remember that asari are a little more affectionate than humans. I mean, Sha'ira in ME1 was ridiculous. I was trying to back my FemShep out of whatever that was so badly.

I wouldn't. I romanced her every time. For those who didn't, it might seem a little too close.
My male shepards never romanced her. Hell, my canonshep is a raging ******. I still went ahead with it, because she's a friend, and didn't regret the scene at all.
Good for you, that's why I included the word 'might'. If you're close the Tali, sharing this intimate moment with Liara could be a little discomforting. Just an observation.
That phrase 'backup plan' is important.
If she didn't think there was a real chance you all might die she wouldn't have done it, that's what's important.
Now that word 'chance' is important. She thinks there's chance you might all die, she does not think it's an unavoidable eventuality. How is this point related now? I can't remember.

I believe it simply sharing some memories ... romantic involvment or not
She makes Jedi/Doctor/Vulcan mind meld look primitive.
Pretty weird though when she tries that on me; thought she was going to ninjamance me (Kaidan all mine).

Liara bears the child and is thus the mother, Shepard is the 'second party', or father. The Asari use the words in that way.
Matriatch Benezia is Liara's mother, and Matriarch Aethyta is her father.

It was a kiss in front of the galaxy. Complete rip-off Watchmen if you ask me.
I expected some ACTUAL memories or something significant. But then again, nothing in Priority Earth was meaningful or significant.

I'm sorry..I guess I'm on eof those people who likes the non-li version. Also, it seems that I am of the few people who understand how much Liara love Shepard, even when not romanicly involved. The Night Mammoth wrote...

A moment of peace and clarity amongst the chaos. You merged consciousnesses I believe, shared memories. It's a show of friendship the Asari display to those closest to them.
Alright for those who romanced her, maybe a bit strange for those who didn't, although I'm not entirely sure what happens in this situation if you didn't.
It's pretty much the same for non-romances, but she puts her head on your shoulder instead of kissing you.
Weak.
That's seems like a bit over the line if you romanced someone else.
It would probably be much stronger if it was romance exclusive, providing other people got something similar with their hook-ups.
You must beone the who did not notice you can say no to her.

I was extremely let down by the vision.
I feel as though it was yet another victim of the budget/schedule crunch. It was just a major missed opportunity. And I can't believe BW would just flat-out miss that chance (aside from being a major emotional scene, it would provide an excellent 'choice difference' where it would be much more plain if you weren't a Liara LI) -- its gotta be due to the rush-job.

I was at PAX, and asked Patrick Weeks and John Dombrow just that! They said it was Liara sharing a final moment, and giving you, literally, everything. The universe. Just two very close people sharing the most intimate of moments possible.
They said she's giving you "the universe"?

Probably a little awkward if Shepard jumps into the control beam and disseminates everything s/he is and has to the rest of the galaxy...

That's how I took it when playing, sharing memories. I really liked that scene =)
