I think EDI never learned that you should wear underwear. Unlike the rest of the crew she probably just puts on a catsuit and that's it. Everyone on Normandy is just too polite to comment on it.
Half way though the game, she's hooking up with Joker. Or didn't you hear his conversation with Mordin? I figured he'd be like "Uh...babe, you might want to put on some panties."
I don't sleep with chicks who don't wear underwear. That's just grimy. Then again, EDI probably doesn't sleep.

EDI has a cameltoe for the same reason every female has DD cup size breasts even if they didn't have them in previous games. Both Ash and FemShep got implants.
Oh come now, its not nearly that bad. You're seriously blowing things out of porportion, Bioware know what they are doing and would never stoop so low....
They're more like C cups.

Edi looks like double D. Liara and Ash look like C. Miranda looks like D. Fem shep, tali and traynor are solid B's
In before somebody tells me most females use the same body type

Honestly guys...it's probably just a mirrored texture error. I don't think they intended it
LOL. As someone who creates 3D models and textures, that would be an extremely shoddy excuse for the cameltoe. Mirroring a supposed flat area like that is easy, and if an "error" like the camletoe appared, it could be fixed. The cameltoe is on purpose, just look at the shading.
I suppose you want to say Jack's nipples are a bump map texture error too?
I'm a 3D artist also, and I've had the ****** effect come up a LOT of times. Everyone i've worked with has at some point because it's usually a seam error. I don't know why it was not fixed but it may very well have been that either nobody noticed it or nobody ever allocated the time to fix it.
I'm not saying it's inconceivable that it's intentional...just that I suspect it's probably not intentional.
Edit: Third option is that it was not intentional and the character artist just decided to leave it in as a joke. I've known character artists who paint in hidden artwork (usually of the male anatomy) into texture patterns to sneak them in.
The point i'm saying is, I'm about 90% certain that either way, there wasn't a collaborative choice to give Edi a cameltoe.

Wow. If you think that cameltoe is accidental after looking at any of those pictures, then... then... then you must be indoctrinated or something...

Like I said, I've seen the cameltoe effect before. It just happens sometimes when you mirror textures. Sometimes when you downsize your textures and you move them from a 3D software package to a game engine it has sideeffects on your texture seams.
I'm inclined to believe it's accidental becasue I once worked on a kids game where we noticed it during a demo to the client. luckily everyone had a good laugh and we were able to fix it, but it does happen believe it or not.

No. EDI doesn't have a "cameltoe effect". She has a obvious, clear, intentional cameltoe. Just like she doesn't have a "breast effect". She has major boobage. Not an accident in either case.

So, it's not liara's or ashley's chest, its just "the female" chest.
In ME2 and ME3 some characters got their unique female torso. That enabled the artists to give some of them bigger chests. And so they did.
I personally think it was redundant to give Liara and Ash implants as well, but i guess EA needs all the cash they can grab.
I'm just glad they don't insist on their artistic integrity, though, because that would be a lie now wouldn't it?!

I'd guess that they also based all their character art on the same base mesh in 2 and 3 to keep proportions relatively similar. I'm not saying there wasn't a push to sex up the women in the games (Ashley's new outfit is a great example), but part of the anatomy change is also likely due to different character artists coming in and out of the series.

And yes, not to mention the ridiculous over exposure of Kaidans bare chest at Huerta memorial, while Thane dies fully clothed in his hospital bed.
The love scene with Liara contains the most naked skin (as far as I know) of all the love scenes, while Garrus is fully clothed and fade to black with little more than a kiss, I just don't get it. So some exposure (but not to alien, just a bit) is good, but not to much so it might enrage certain tv-channels aperticular public or what.
Sorry about the off topic ranting, but imo you can make intresting characters in a game with tasteful sexscenes and nudety but in ME3 lots of it just feel cheapened.
